Sending my warmest greetings to all steemit family, having introduced myself to the members of this great platform, it will be nice to highlight the basic security in steemit. As we all know, "security" as a term is vital in every spheres of life which can not be underestimated, this explains the length humans can go, in other to protect and secure their lives, accounts, properties and businesses.

BASIC SECURITY IN STEEMIT.

The primary purpose of this achievement is to get acquainted with the basic security terms on steemit which is a step, taken by the platform to Secure users account, these keys are as follows:

• private posting key,
• private owner keys,
• active key,
• master key and memo keys.

Have you retrieved your Steemit keys?
And: yes, I have retrieved my steemit keys and save both in my phone and my Google drive.

Do you know each of these key's functions?
Ans: I know their functions which are as follows:

• Master Key:This is the key, which is used to generate all other permission keys.It controls the memo,posting, private and owner keys. For one to retain one's account, this key must be protected at all cost.

• Posting key: This is another important key, which is used for logging in to the platform, it's used to vote, and follow up other accounts. This key will also help to prohibit any third party from transferring any funds from your account.

• Active key: This particular key is used to transfer liquid steem, helps one to redeem rewards. such as transferring tokens or powering STEEM up and down, converting Steem Dollar

• Owner key:This is one of the most powerful because, it can change any account key,
  It can also be used to recover a compromised Account.

• Memo key: This key is specifically used for private messaging, it's used for encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds.

How do you plan to save your master password?

I planned to save my master password in my Google drive so it can be more secure, as my phone can develop issue at any given time.

Ans: Yes I did transfer and this is how I did it

• I went to my wallet first and I logged in with my username and posting key.

• After logging in, I clicked the drop down arrow close to my steem and then choose transfer.

• I then inserted the user I want to transfer to and the amount.

• So I click on okay and confirm the details before putting my active key to process it.

Do you know how to power up liquid steems?

Ans: Yes, I went to my wallet first, then I
I logged in and click the drop down arrow.

After clicking it, I clicked on power up, choose the amount i want to power up and I did so without any difficulty.
