I hope that you all will be fine and enjoy good health by the grace of Allah almighty. Today I'm going to write about my achievement-3 task with the title Content Protocol so let's start:

What is plagiarism?

In my own words, to steal someone or something from a person without informing him, without his permission, or without appreciating him.

In a simple way, that is copy. It can be art, images, words, stories, etc. without giving proper credit to him or proper source link, which is illegal.

In other words, plagiarism is an act of fraud. It involves both stealing someone else's work and lying about it afterward.

Types of plagiarism:

There are several varieties of plagiarism, however we shall cover just some of them following.

Complete plagiarism

It's like a person completely writing another person's work or stealing their work with their own name. It looks like someone else's work was submitted by our own name.source

Direct plagiarism

It's one kind of complete plagiarism. Where you copy someone's work without giving proper credit to the owner, that is called direct plagiarism. source

Paraphrasing plagiarism

It's a dangerous plagiarism because changing some word that's doesn't mean you write this in your own way. But the creativity goes to the author. And you are present the owners original creative work.source

Patchwork plagiarism

where copied work is intertwined with the writer's original writing. It is easy plagiarism, and they don't know that this type of work is also called plagiarism.source

Source-based plagiarism

It's a tricky kind of plagiarism. Because the writer may cite or give proper credit while presenting their work, source

Disadvantages of Plagiarism:

In my 10 days of experience on steemit platform, I see plagiarism is banned in this creative forum. I see @rex-sumon is hard at work against it. If anyone finds plagiarism in your post, then you may get downvoted and lose your reputation. So please avoid it.
But if you do this continuously, your account will be banned in different communities. I read some policies against it.
It also harms your reputation in the perspective of others. That is not a good thing. So, try to think clearly and comprehend what you're saying. This will be really beneficial to you.

Causes of plagiarism:

• Their first thought was that they never caught

• Time management is poor

• Always want to do work on the last date

Prevention of plagiarism:

If you really want to avoid plagiarism, then give credit to others, try to create unique and quality content, and also mention the source link. Also, get permission before citing their content.

The important thing is that, to prevent plagiarism, please write your own content. I know no one can write properly, but creativity is the best. Time after time, you can experience all of those. That means you have to practice more and more.
