ACHIEVEMENT 2 @stephankhoti: Basic security on steem

Helle steemians I trust you all are doing fine. I have been studying the basic security for a while now that's why I've taken some time before doing my achievement now.

So far, I'll like to talk about the basic security on steem keys which is achievement two(2). Due to illustrations outlined by @cryptokannon on her article.

Q.1.) have you retrieved all your keys on steem it?
Yes, I have and also signed up into steem and also saved them there. There are four (4) main keys , these are:

1. Master key
2. Owner key
3. Active key
4. Posting key.

Q.2.) Do you know the functions and restrictions of these keys?

1. MASTER KEY: this is the password given to you during your sign up into steemit which is to be kept secret and safe. It is also used to access an account and generate other keys.
2. OWNER KEY: this key is the strongest key of all and it can be used to change any account key to recover a compromised account.
3. ACTIVE KEY: this is the key used for transferring funds , powering up or down transactions, converting steem dollars , voting, updating profiles and placing market orders.
4. POSTING KEY: This is the key that allows account user to post, comment, edit , vote , resteem and follow or mute other accounts. All users login to steemit daily, are advices to use this key.
5. MEMO: This is where incrypting and decrypting is done during transfer of funds . When doing that , we use the pound sign # sign before it.

Q.3.) How do you plan to keep your master password?
These are very important passwords and it is certain that if you loose them you can access or restore your account. So I saved my keys on my phone's notepad , USB drive and in my computer for precaution sake.
Some people have lost their phone to thieves and they can recover their password because their keys were in their phones.

Q.4.) Do you know how to transfer your steem tokens to another user account?
I do, thanks the internet that I did research, @cryptokannon , and @saxopedia that have been very instrumental to me helping me throu the processes and now I can do it by my self.
When I login to my wallet with my active key and click on steem tradable token arrow down, it will display and you click on transfer

Here I will click on transfer then input the users name and create the memo then submit for confirmation with my active key

Q.5.) Do you know how to power up your steem?
Yes. Firstly, I login to my wallet, sign-in with my active key, and click on to drop-down arrow,

I click on the power up, I input the amount I want and click on power up to confirm
