ANNOUNCEMENT: Launching Our @SteemGhana-Team For Season #2 & Other Events To The Steemit Team

YOU ARE WELCOMED TO SteemGhana-Team's BLOG:

Dear Steemit Team, @steemitblog, @steemcurator1, @cryptokannon, All the Steem POD Members, The Curating Team and fellow Steemians around Steem Blockchain, it's our pleasure to announce the name of our Team Account to all Steemit Community members. The name for our Country Team representatives for Ghana is @steemghana-team. Over the weeks, we have been working tirelessly to come out with one common name that suit all members in the Team, Our Vision of what we hope to achieve working as a Team and things we will do differently to bring positive change in Our Steem Ghana Community.

OUR BACKGROUND INFORMATION

SteemGhana-Team is newly created Team from Ghana, with the hopes to empower and fix new users from Ghana into Steem Blockchain and with the upcoming Season 2 Challenge and any other projects that would promote Steem. The Team have 5 representatives and the listed new Steemians who have just joined Steem, either verified or yet to be verified through the New comers Community championed by the Leader, @cryptokannon. The SteemGhana-Team is led by @oppongk who coordinated the Team and initiated the features & design for the flyer.

THE MISSION STATEMENT OF SteemGhana-Team

As it has been spelt our in our flyer, we hope to provide a solid ground for members in the Team to bring successes. So we have one of our missions to "Bring Revolutionary Change in Steemit." We also want to leave a reputable mark or scar for the Team for our younger generations to follower. So, in our Motto, we have stated that, we are Leaving Footprints On Steemit." Our old Steem in Ghana left many gaps in the quest to develop Steem. Many of those Steemians were looking for their own successes but not for the group. But, we are here as a Team with the mindset of Unity working collaboratively to bring positive change. The symbol of the Black Star signifies African Unity, so we hope that with that unity surrounded by revolutionary change, we can achieve successes. We know that success or victory comes with determination and conscious effort. We can't fold our arms and expect good results. So, in our mission, we hope to organize series of projects, meetups and contests to support our Team growth.

OUR VISION STATEMENT AS SteemGhana-Team

Our first resource of this Team Building are the Individual Steemians. So, the Team Vision is to support & motivate all members in the Team, especially with the Newcomers to continue remain active in the Team. This is what the @steemitblog refers to as "Retention & Reward." We have seen that most people come and leave the community if they aren't motivation or not getting and experienced Steemian to guide him or her in the Community. I saw this when I was recruiting most of the Steemians into the Steemit blockchain, and I see it as a great challenge to most New users of Steem. To some people they aren't users friendly to the internet app. and finds it very difficult to even operate, so I had to even meet them somewhere to offer help. To some of them I have to share the details of how things are done with the support of screenshots and all that before they are able to use. Some could even locate the "Newcomer's Community to share their Achievement 1 posts." Despite the fact that there is details tutorials that Steem greet has shared through their community, but if the Newcomer isn't followed for some days, even where to begin becomes a challenge for them. In this case, as a Team, we hope to visit our members how they are faring with their Steem journey, those who aren't, they WhatsApp created channel is one of the fastest tool we can effectively use to help some of these New Steem Users. We also hope to curate among ourselves frequently. The Newcomers come with the mindset of achieving something great so if they are less attended to, they begin to lose hope. They have to first all be motivated with some appreciable curation, and then later they will begin to understand how the system of Steem works. We will be committed to give reports of what will be going on in the Team either weekly or daily as and when needed. This will help us to assess the performance of the Team. The Team members shall encourage our selves to engage one another to keep everyone active in the team. Since we are found in the same Country, the Team have created WhatsApp group that will facilitate the communication , and help quick addresses of issues by members.

FIVE MEMBER TEAM REPRESENTATIVE FOR SteemGhana-Team

The Team selection was done based on the criteria of those who have ever played the Diary Game Season 1. These Team selected are officially presented to @steemblog to represent Our Country Representatives in Season 2 upcoming Diary Game in August 1st 2020. The Team is subject to change is we find that some of these members are not active in playing the Diary Game. In this case, the Team members must be committed throughout the 50 days in the Diary Game Season 2. Because this comes with huge reward from the Steemit Team. Also, this doesn't mean that the Newly Recruited Steemians aren't part of us, they will join as when we begin Season 2. Most of them them are in the verification stage, some have already passed through and others too are yet to begin. On this note, I hereby present to the Steemit Team, our five(5) member Team Representatives for the SteemGhana-Team alphabetically order:

The Diary Game-Hello Steem Diary! As Clinical Midwife she is always busy, but that day she was off for work. So, she had enough time sleeping and waking up to watch movies, doing a lot of household activities and even meeting her colleague Midwives.

@menak - He is Citizen of Ghana who lives in Nsuta in Ashanti. He is a teacher by profession. He joined us in the game lately through recruitment by @oppongk, but he has proven himself beyond doubt being in the game till the end on 11th July. He is still playing #theshoppinggame.

My 3rd Diary Game:A visit to My Subsistence farming Here, he visited his farm to see how things are going. The Steemian has admitted to join us with the Diary Game 2 and continue the good work.

@nattybongo - A Ghana Steemian who lives in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. He is one of the experienced Steemian in the Ghana's Team. He was very active from the commencement of the Season 1 Game till the end. Even during the time he was doing his academic course he showed up in Steem. He has responded positively to join the Season 2 Game.

Dear Diary

This is one of the best Diary Game he shared with us when the protocols of Covid - 19 was strictly observed. He did a lot of things: sucking some beverage for work, bothered in an urvan and writing posts. He has contributed so much in the game. He promised to help build our Team.

@oppongk - A Ghanaian by birth who lives in Nsuta in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He has been very active in the game. He has remained committed till now. He is still in the #theshoppinggame and he has promised to play the Season 2.

My 23rd Diary Game - 28th June 2020
It was his first day after the lifting of the ban by His President on social gathering. There was a lot of activities he engaged himself with: recording his body temperature and his name, listing to sermon and making fun with friends.

As we have stated already, after the Diary Game Season 1, the Team led by @oppongk has been working hard to signed up new and fresh members into team. They aren't separated from the team, since many have shown commitment to join the Diary Game Season 2. About five(5) of them have been verified and want to pass through all the five(5) Achievements laid down by Steem Greet Members, now, Newcomer's Community led by @cryptokannon and her associates. I want to take this opportunity to welcome all of them here in SteemGhana-Team. I have been always helping them so that make their ways through some of the valuable things they need to know, through WhatsApp discussions , that's those who aren't closer here in Nsuta, but for those who are around, I just meet them one-on-one. Thanks to all of them.

We will also share any information that would be going on in the @steemitblog so that members can quickly get the current updates, especially the Newcomers who aren't user friendly with the Steemit usage. The SteemGhana-Team will from time to time post the stage of our growth or how the Team is faring in terms of recruitment and retention. We encourage freedom of speech of anything that would help all of to move forward as a Team. But we discouraged and form of abuses or things that would insight conflicts and lead to the explosion that will wipe away the unity and love we hope to build. We no that members will act decently and comply with all the rules.
