Hi Friends,

I am @sr-adnan. How are you? I hope you are all well and I am also.

This is my achievement 2 post and here I discuss about basic security about steem and their functions.

Question: 1
Have you retrieve all your keys on Steemit ?
Ans: Yes I have retrieved all my keys and also keep to downloading pdf file of 1st time log in. There are 4 keys of that pdf file.

• Owne rkey
• Posting key
• Active key
• Memo key

Question: 2
Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Ans: Yes, I know the functions and restrictions of followings keys:

Posting key:
Posting key is to allow the account to submit post, comment, edit, vote and follows. You can’t perform any financial action from this posting key.

Active key:
Actives key is used for transaction such as transfer tokens, power ups and down, converting SBD by market orders.

Owner key:
Owner key are used to reset all your other keys. It is used for recovery of your account.

Memo key:
Memo key is provided by steemit to encrypt or decrypt memos during transferring of funds.

Question 3:
How do you plan to keep your master password?
Ans: I have kept my master password and save it offline.

Question 4:
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem account?
Ans: Yes, Following steps are for the transfer of tokens to another account

• Open profile
• Then click wallet
• Then click balance “steem” and open option
• Then Click transfer
• show pop up window and fill up same as this photo
• Finally logged in with private key

Question 5:
Do you know how to power up your steem?
Ans: Yes, Following steps are power up process.

• Open profile
• Then click wallet
• Then click balance “steem” and open option
• Select power up
• show pop up window and fill up same as this photo
• Finally my steem is powered up
