Greetings to you wonderful people on steemit, I believe your day is going well and you are having a great time this afternoon. I am back with my achievement3.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?
Plagiarism is simply when a person takes an idea that is not their own and represents it theirs for credit.

TYPES/KINDS OF PLAGIARISM
The following are the most common types/Kinds of Plagiarism?

Direct Plagiarism:
Direct Plagiarism is adopting parts from the writing of another writer without proper mention of the source and the copyer does not change even a single word which lead to Plagiarism.

Mosaic Plagiarism:
This is another type of plagiarism which is unintentional. Here, the plagiarist may have mentioned the source of the content he has referred to. But, if the plagiarist does not acknowledge the quoted part or put them under the quotation marks correctly, it results to be plagiarism.

Self-Plagiarism:
Self-plagiarism is one of the common types of plagiarism, where high school students copy and paste part of their previously submitted academic paper. If the student submits the same paper for two different class projects without asking the concerned teacher, then that is considered as self-plagiarism.

Accidental Plagiarism:
Accidental plagiarism is when the plagiarist misquotes the phrases or parts of the text he/she has taken from the source material or does not cite the source even or adequately or cites a wrong source, it's considered as plagiarism.

THE COUSES OF PLAGIARISM
The following are some of the couses of plagiarism.👇🏿👇🏿👇🏿

Desire to get a good grade: when a student/writer is eager to get much or high grade he or she will develop the habit of copying other people's work instead of taking time to study and compute his own write-up.

*Fear of failing: when a student can't believe on himself that he can do it, he has no option than to copy.

*Procrastination or poor time management: any student that has the spirit of procrastinating will always copy other people's work thereby falling into the trap of plagiarism.

Disinterest in the assignment: when a student is giving an assignment he or she left it for something else, when is almost time for submission, he or she will have no option than to engage in plagiarism.

Belief they will not get caught: when a student believe that he or she will not get caught in the act of plagiarism, it will give them the room to practice it.

Confusion about what constitutes plagiarism or current university policies: whenn you have less or know knowledge of the ponishment in plagiarism it will give you the room to practice it.

HOW TO AVOID PLAGIARISM
Plagiarism is something that need to be avoided. The following will help us avoid it.👇🏿👇🏿👇🏿

Always change every English words that look the same, by doing this you will be free from plagiarism.

Always make sure you make references to your write-up by taking time to search for the needed one online with your write-up.

Always make sure you insert unique white-colored text for this will help mask Plagiarism in your work.

Always ask for permissions from copyright holder and use short quotation in your work.
