The importance of knowing the basic security on steemit is of great value to each and every member it allows you of great access and connecting to others around the globe, it enlighten us on how to safeguard and use our Private keys for better understanding of the wonderful platform thanks.

1. HAVE YOU RETRIEVE ALL YOUR KEYS ON STEEMIT?

Yes, I have obtained and save all my steam keys in a secure place where I alone has access to and also I have written them down personally.

2. DO YOU KNOW EACH OF THESE KEYS FUNCTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS?

Yes, I know the functions of each of these keys and also the restrictions as well, which I acquired through the PDF lessons I learnt from the community, which are classified below.

MASTER PASSWORD
This keys should be saved and kept in a secured place, and only log into my account using the key with the appropriate permission for what I'm doing.
Saving and keeping the master password safe is very important because if overwrite or misplace your original master password, can lead to stealing your account and all the tokens in it, the master password is used to derive all keys from your account.

PRIVATE POSTING KEY
The function of this key is to allow my account to post, comment, edit, vote, resteem, and follow or mute other accounts. for my account and key not to be compromised, I need to limit the existence of my posting key.

PRIVATE ACTIVE KEY
The Active key is a key meant for unique and sensitive tasks such as transferring funds, power up/down transactions, converting steam dollar, voting for witnesses, updating profile detail and avater and also placing market order.

PRIVATE OWNER KEY
This is the key that is only meant for use when necessary, It is known as the most powerful key because it is capable of changing any key of my account, including the owners key itself, ideally it is meant to be kept and stored offline, and used only when an account is compromised.

PRIVATE MEMO KEY
The function of the memo key is to encrypt and decrypt memos when transferring funds, to encrypt a memo, the pound/# sign is used before it used before it.

3. HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP YOUR MASTER PASSWORD?

My master password is saved and kept somewhere safe where I am the only person that have access to it, because the master password is used to derive all keys from my account, if compromised, my account can be stolen together with my tokens.

4. DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEAM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEAM USER ACCOUNT?

Yes I do, and these are the steps I followed, I clicked at my profile, when it displayed, I clicked at my wallet where my steem amount showed and I clicked at my steem token where an option of transfer displayed and i taped it, after which a tab of where I filled in information of whom I am about to transfer the token to, I then clicked the next botton and confirm the transfer, which are as follow.

5. DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM?

Yes I do know how, and this is how I did it I entered my profile where I clicked my wallet and options displayed, where I filled in my details afterwards I selected the power up option and it open where I then powered up. Which are show below.
