My Name is Majid Khan. I am 26 years old. I am from India a country in South Asia.
I am born and brought up in Gaya a district of Indian state of Bihar.
Gaya city is both the district headquarters and the second-largest city in Bihar.

Gaya is mentioned in the great epics, Ramayana and Mahabharata. Lord Ram along with Sita and Lakshman visited Gaya for Pind-Daan to his father Dasharath.
The place has been identified as Gayapuri in Mahabharata. In vayu purana Gaya was name of a demon who got blessing from lord Vishnu after doing tapasya(rigid penance).

BODH GAYA

Located 17 km from Gaya is famous Buddhist place Bodh Gaya. It is a religious place and has the Mahabodhi Temple. It is said that Lord Gautama Buddha have attained Enlightenment under Bodhi Tree. Since then, Bodh Gaya has remained the object of pilgrimage and great respect both for Hindus and Buddhists. Mahabodhi Temple, located in Bodh Gaya, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site

THE MAHABODHI TEMPLE

Mahabodhi temple located in Bodhgaya. The temple is dedicated to Lord Buddha who attained enlightenment here. It is one of the most famous Buddhist temple in India. Some of the interesting facts about Mahabodhi temple are:

• It is the place where the Prince Siddharth got enlightenment as Lord Buddha.
• Emperor Ashoka wanted to spread Buddhism in Sri Lanka so he spent the sampling of original tree to Sri Lanka.
• The temple was originally built in 260 BC. Today’s temple dates back to 5th and 6th century.
• The temple is one such that proves the root between Buddhism and Hinduism.
• It is believed that if Bodhi tree won’t exist place will be completely barren. No grass or plant would be able to grow there even no one could pass through this region.

OTHER TOURISTS PLACES IN GAYA

One of the very famous sites in Bodh Gaya, is the massive statue of the great Gautama Buddha. It is about 25 meters high, resembling Lord Buddha in his meditation pose known as the mudra on top of a blooming lotus, carved from red granite and sandstone. This statue is believed to be the tallest one and also the first Buddha installed in the country.

YAMA TEMPLE

The meaning of the name is the hill of ghosts, the Hindu god of hell, and forms one of the sacred places of pilgrimage. On the top of the hill there is a small temple dedicated to Yama (The God of death). There is a tank called Ramkund on the summit near the temple of Yama, in which it is said that Ram himself bathed.

THE CHINESE TEMPLE

The Chinese Temple in Gaya is adjacent to the Mahabodhi Temple and is a spectacular Buddhist temple built by Chinese-Buddhist monks. The architecture, therefore, is an amalgamation of the beautiful Indian and Chinese designs, especially the temple exterior, which resembles a Chinese monastery.

MY AREA OF WORK AND STUDY

I have studied Industrial Engineering at IIT Dhanbad. Indian Institute of Technology Dhanbad is one of the top premier institutes of India. Its motto says “ Arise, Awake, strive for the highest and be in the light”. By profession, I am a mathematics teacher. I have mentored more than thousands of students to jee, ntse, and other Olympiads. I have even produced toppers in schools. I love teaching mathematics. I have been teaching mathematics since I was in standard 9. It has been a great experience. It feels great to interact with students. Teaching is fun but it also comes with a lot of responsibilities.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE CRYPTO

Crypto, I love it. I started following the crypto from last year only. I already invest in mutual funds, the stock market, Gold and Gold bonds. Before last year I have heard about bitcoin but did not know much about it. I started following it. For me, I felt like with crypto it's so up and down. Honestly, I would have made so much if I have invested earlier in crypto, I was already investing in other places, so I could have invested in crypto but I was not enough lucky to do so. Recently I learned about steemit from one of my close friends. It's so great, we have a lot of opportunities here. The potential of this platform is so huge. We can share our ideas and earn millions.
