What is Plagiarism?

Plagiarism is an act of copying another person's ideas, work, content, article or Paragraph. When We copies another person's ideas or work or paragraph and acting that this is our own work, then this act comes under plagiarism.

In one word, Presenting another person's or site's content as our own is referred as Plagiarism.

What are the types of Plagiarism?

There are some types of Plagiarism.

1.Direct Plagiarism-
When We copies whole content, word to word article from another site and presenting it as own work is known as Direct Plagiarism.

2.Self Plagiarism-

When We submit our own previous article or work with some changes, then this act comes under Self Plagiarism.

3.Mosaic Plagiarism

4.Accidental Plagiarism

5.Paraphrasing Plagiarism

Citation

We can avoid plagiarism by mentioning the proper name of the person whose work we have copied.

If we have copied from some site, then We can avoid plagiarism by mentioning the proper source of that site.

Citation is known as the act when we mention the proper source with the copied article or content.

I have taken this above image from another site, But I have mentioned proper source with it. In this way, I have avoided Plagiarism.
