Hello everyone, it's a lovely afternoon, hope you are having a great time? I'm here to make my achievement 3 post.

What is plagiarism?
In my understanding, plagiarism is the act of copying someone's work , write up or post without giving honour or reward to the person that originally has the post. It simply means taking honour/glory for a post that is not originally written by you and it's an offense that can result in serious punishment if taken up by copyright law,it removes the authenticity of the work.

Types of plagiarism

There are different types of plagiarism but the most common ones are Direct and mosaic plagiarism. There are two others which are; self plagiarism and accidental plagiarism

Direct plagiarism
Direct plagiarism can be defined as the act of copying someone's else's post word to word without edition and without addressing the original writer of the post,these is the most harmful type of plagiarism.when a plagiarist copies a person's write up without citing the source the person is said to have committed direct plagiarism.

mosaic plagiarism
Mosaic plagiarism can be defined as the act of unintentionally posting of another person's post without directly acknowledging quoted parts or adding adequate quotation marks to the write up.these happens when he borrows phrase or even parts of a material.

self-plagiarism
Self plagiarism can be defined as the act of using previously written post or write up for a different post without indicating that to the receptor. its common among students.

Accidental plagiarism
Accidental plagiarism is when the plagiarist misquotes or states the quotation wrongly from the original writer of a post.

Causes of plagiarism

• People plagiarize because they are very lazy to create their own write up.

• Lack of adequate Time management to construct creative post.

• poor network discourages some writers from creating post.

• lack of confidence in one's write-up.

• having Low self esteem,they rely on others post for good grades.

• Always reading knowledgeable books to broaden knowledge.
  How to avoid plagiarism

• Having high self confidence in one's write-up.

• Having verse knowledge and understanding of different life issues by reading.

• having high self esteem.

• having high internet connection.

• Hardworking and serious mindset.
