APPLICATION OF MARKDOWNS

One thing about making a post attractive is by applying markdowns because these help in making a work very neat, legible and easily understandable.
Applying markdowns makes one post very easy to read and also makes one post meaningful. Today, in this my achievement 4 I'll be telling us about some of the markdowns which can be used on steemit.

1. MARKDOWN FOR MAKING HEADLINES

Markdowns can be made for headlines by using # + space + headline. Below are some examples of the using various markdowns for headlines.

The writings above were made by writing #tags, then giving a space, then writing the headline.

2. HOW TO ARRANGE HEADLINES IN THE MIDDLE

Different words or texts can be made to appear in the middle if the correct markdown is being applied. To make a text appear in the middle the markdown that should be applied is:

3. MARKDOWN FOR ADDING SUBSCRIPT AND SUPERSCRIPT

In order to add either a subscript or a superscript the following markdown is being applied.

• superscript

This is a type of markdown which is applied when a word wants to be written above.

This is used when a word wants to be written below another word.

4. MARKDOWN FOR ADDING A LINK TO A POST

Although, people tend to get info from different sources and at such, links to these sources must be provided for prooer referencing. The markdown for adding a link to a post is shown below.

5. MARKDOWN FOR CODE

When making a post, the use of coding is very important. The markdonw for applying a code is shown below:
• Using two asterisks before and after a word will make it bold.
It will appear as: STEEMIT

• Using a single asterisks before and after a word will make it appear in italics (a slant form)

6. MARKDOWN FOR APPLYING A RULER

When trying to make a post, using ruler to separate your work shows neatness and in order to achieve this, the following markdown is being applied.

1. Use 3 dashes (___), 3 asterisks or 3 minus signs (---)
