The Diary Game Season 3 (14 November 2021) in Newcomers' Community//A Shared Day for Worship, Family, Community, and the Steemit//
The 14 November 2021 was my first day of chronicling my activities for @diarycontest. As part of my weekend, I woke up at 6.23pm. I started the day with family discussion that highlighted how God is interested in the well-being of people of all nations, tribes and tongues. This clearly shows the creator as the God of diversity. A good example for us to imitate in dealing with one another irrespective of of our skin colour, nationality, gender and many more.
Thereafter, I took my bath and prepared the rest of the family for a two-hour Zoom scriptural meeting.
The first part focused on how families could be happy today though living in challenging times. The husband was reminded to continue to love his wife. Those things that he did before marriage - should be continued. Never to beat his wife.
On her part, the wife is to contribute to family happiness by respecting her husband even though she is taller, more educated, smarter, and even richer than the husband.
Children on their part were told to continue to be obedient to their parents and never to see them as old school.
The Zoom program ended at 11:55am and it was time for family members to engage in personal concerns.
Guess what I did next?
I bathed and dressed my baby. Baby care is the activity I enjoy. From birth, he is my friend and now we have very strong bond.
At 5pm, I visited two neighbors to discuss how to fix our community road. During last rainy season it was very challenging for residents and visitors to access and exit our community.
After deciding on constructing culvert and how to go about it, I introduced one of my neighbours to Steemit. He showed interest I have to cultivate. As we were still discussing, another neighbour who was passing by gave us verbal invitation to his daughter's wedding next month.
On getting home, I started to put on paper my activities for for the day - a fully filled day with spiritual, family, community and Steemit activities.
