Achievement 1 - "My Introduction"

Hey! Grab your cup of tea and go to your favorite spot because uh, its gonna take long. So, how you doin?! What's your name?

INTRODUCTION

My name is Yusra Khalid and I am 25 years old, turning 26 soon.
I belong to Pakistan, a country with breathtaking scenic views and people with golden heart.

WHAT I DO

By profession I am a lawyer but currently a full time home-maker; I didn't pursue my career in this field (might do it later in life, who knows? :P), because a private lawyer has to make his reputation where he lives, in order to can gain people's trust in him. But in my case, I am bound to travel from one city to another every few years because of my husband's job, hence pursuing my career as an advocate is not a good option for now. Whereas, my husband is at home on weekends and looks after the kids so I work as a part-time marketing agent for a private business firm.
Along with this, I am a mommy of two. Elder one is a girl turning 4 by the end of this year; While, the little boy, who has just started his journey in this world, is 3 months old.

HOW I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT CRYPTO

The idea of crypto isn't pretty new to me as I have been hearing a lot from different sources and was always curious to know more about it. Until one fine day, I finally got to discuss it in detail with my cousin who is a lot into it. I have started researching more about it so that I am not left behind. ;) During this time, one of my friends (@event-horizon) told me about steemit and all about how it works. She has been using this platform for a long time and says its her favorite. Then how could I not join it? :D

WHAT I LIKE
Okay so! Let me be very honest with my steemit family about my hobbies: there was a time, not long before my daughter came into this world, I was so much into swimming that I'd go swimming twice a day, I'd stay in water for hours until the last whistle of the lifeguard, who'd look at me so angrily as if I had stolen her money. But after my first caesarian section, I thought it wasn't a good idea to go for swimming for good six months. After that life got so busy that my relation with swimming started getting weaker. alas!

Anyway, if you consider singing a hobby then yes that's my hobby too, I sing, like a lot. Not a bathroom singer. But a full fledge one (if that's even a word, haha) I wait for everyone to sleep and go to my favorite spot of my home and sing songs, not one, not two, but I can sing for hours. This works as a therapy for me after a long tiring day. Other hobbies include trying out different DIYs, writing and yes of course loving my husband, if that counts. :p

There is one thing that I love the most, about our couple, is that we both love to explore. I am the one who does the homework and looks for places where we can go and explore new eateries, views or places that are not too common. While he is the one who pays and drives, haha. We enjoy every bit of our exploration journey together, from the music to the bumpy roads, from the uncertain routes to the midway punctured tires, buying every tiny bit we see on the way to getting surprised at how the wallet got so light by the end of the trip. But that's how we roll!

WHAT YOU'LL SEE ON MY BLOG

After sending my elder one to school, the thing that I enjoy doing the most is to read the daily life blogs of different people. It helps me to live different lives at a same time. Reading experiences of different people help me grow as a person, it helps me to learn a new thing every time. So, I am sure there might be other people out there too who would enjoy reading daily life experiences of me. This is why I plan to share my life as a mommy, wifey, a home-maker and a responsible citizen here! My blogs will revolve around the life around me, what I think, what I do, what I cook and what I see.

Well I have started this journey with positivity and excitement and I am sure this platform will help me grow in all aspects of life.
