Markdown is a way to organize writing, text or sentences to make it more organized, easy and attractive to readers, there are several ways to markdown and style for various occasions.

Headlines

Headings are mainly used when writing posts, the "#" sign is used to add or subtract the word you want to use as a heading, you must put a sign at the beginning of the word.
