ACHIEVEMENT 2 @mesopat: BASIC SECURITY ON STEEM

Good day everyone, trust we are all keeping well?. Alright!, so I would like to discuss the basic security on steem with us, as I answer the questions below.

✓HAVE YOU RETRIEVE ALL YOUR KEYS ON STEEMIT?.
Yes!, I have done that, after following all the procedures needed to be a part of steem by providing all that was required of me, I then received a document to be downloaded and I went through it and saved it.

✓DO YOU KNOW EACH OF THESE KEYS FUNCTION AND RESTRICTION?.
Yes!, I do know about all the keys after reading through and I have been able to know how to use each of the keys.
•For the posting key, it is used for posting, editing, voting, resteeming and making comments.
•Active key: It is used for task such as transferring funds, transaction, converting steem dollars, power up and down, and other sensitive task.
•Owner key: The owner key is the most powerful key because of what it is used for, it can be used to change any key of an account including the owner key.
•Memo key: It is used for encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds.

✓HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP YOUR MASTER PASSWORD?.
After going through the keys, I realise how important the master's password is, so I have saved it not just on my devices but also in hard copies and kept save from eyes or third party from gaining access to it.

✓DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEEM TO ANOTHER STEEM USER?.
Yes!, first thing to be done is that you log in to your wallet using the active key, then scroll down to your steem, click on the drop down arrow, some list of option will pop up, then cliq on "transfer".

You will then be directed to this page below, carefully fill in the requirement, then cliq "next".

You will then be directed to this page so as to confirm your transfer, then cliq "ok".

✓DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM?.
The process is almost same as above, all you need to do this time is to cliq on the "power up" option instead of "transfer",

then you will be directed to this page, then you fill in the requirement and then cliq on "power up".
