My first progress report

Wow, I'm super excited to submit my progress report here. Because it helps me review my stay on how far I have gone on steemit and how far I will go if I do better because good is not enough when better is possible.

From day one I joined steemit, I've join a total of 26 communities. This is because I found the communities interesting and also because I needed to read other people's post to expand my writing skill and also interact with people across the globe 🌍

The communities I found it interesting and most active are

Steem for better life
Steem for Pakistan
Steem kid and parents
Steem for lifestyle
Steem for Bangladesh
Ukraine on steem
Steem for Nigeria
Hindwhale community

Why I found this communities interesting and astounding is because the have an inducting topics like steem for kid and parents. This is because their topics are related to that of family and I find it interesting and easy to write on ✍️
Steem for Pakistan also have indicted topics and stories to read, learn brainstorm and also write on most importantly view others people comments.

I like steem for lifestyle as it further expose my potential.
I found it an honor to be on this platform.

Interestingly, I usually participate in a lot of topics especially those topics I can run around easily. I also do diary games when I'm not chance because it's easy to write on ✍️ and it's not time consuming.
However, what interest me most is contest that relates to everyday life which I easily find in this platform.
I also enjoy the environment cleaning topics in steem kids and parent community, the one picture one story in steem for Pakistan.

I see this as an honor to interact and connect with great and potential people's who have achieved and great alot of impact in this platform.
Someone like @Zekanem it's really an honor to interact with him. He happen to be my mentor and he is really an amazing person. Someone I cherish most.

I have also interacted with @pandora20 when she commented on my post.
I have also interacted with @chiomzy810 who shares very beautiful articles.

The list is actually long because I go around visiting different people's post to read and drop my 2 cents. Some of them reply while others don't. But till now I'm yet to have a good relationship with anyone I've met here outside of steemit. This is why I look forward to another gathering like I see @ngoenyi and @goodybest organising. I really want to meet this great minds in person since most of them are in Uyo.

My most successful post was my best diary game. A day to be thankful.
I shared in steem for Pakistan and it happens to be my most successful post because that was the first time I had an opportunity to win a booming vote. I was nominated for it. I was super excited because it had to be the highest in my steemit journey so far and I'm still hoping for more to come as I get to know more in this laudable platform.

Other observations, what have you learnt and discovered that you weren't expecting to.

Earnestly, I really learn a lot from steemit some of which I will like to share are...

In due course, I've improved on my writing skills to the extent that I don't have to rack my brain to figure out something to write ✍️
I just got perfect as the day progresses.

I also get to know a lot of communities where I can interact with people across the globe just by writing.
I also found out that this platform is more like unity. No racism, no discrimination whatsoever and it's really exciting and educating to be part of it.

Well about what I expected, to be honest my inviter had told me before I joined that I was assured of SC09 support for my three months as a newcomer. This was very encouraging and in my first week I got two votes from 09 curators. Then a week passed and I did not see anything, two weeks and nothing yet. I had to complain to him to know what was going and he told me there is no a new rule in place which cancels out the old ways. He said I am now like everyone else and there is no special treatment for me. I felt disappointed because I had plans honestly, @zekanem also expressed his disappointment and said there was nothing he could do and that I could leave the platform if I am not going to be able to cope. He showed me how he goes days without votes himself and said if I wanted to continue I should just do it for the fun and learning and leave rewards out of it. If it comes good, if it doesn't well thank God.

I gave it a thought and decided to continue because I had already begun to love sharing my ideas here and listening to feedbacks from other readers.
So I continued writing.

My plan and expectations for the next month is to be able to share more of my knowledge here. I am a student and currently school has been taking its toll on me. I have not been able to share on my own personal blog that isn't a contest because of this but I have shared a few. So I expect to be able to share more personal post and of course improve my writing ability and surely find a better strategy to win any contest I participate in. Most importantly, meet and connect with new people and also improved in my writing skills and vocabulary. I trust this can be made possible through hardwork.

Thank you
