Achievement 2: basic security on steem by @mayrose

Hello steemit friends, it's my pleasure to write my second achievement today.

Question 1

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes I have. My keys was given to me as soon as my account was created and I was told the importance of these keys. I have also kept them in a secured place so as not to lose them.

Question2

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
Yes I do.
There are basically five keys which perform different functions. They all have different functions and restrictions and below I will list them out:

POSTING KEY
The posting key is used for social networking actions such as posting, voting and making comments. It does not allow for monetary actions. It only allows for making posts, comments, votes, resteem. It doesn't grant access to the wallet.

ACTIVE KEY
The active key is used for wallet related actions, it can be used for the transfer and exchange of tokens from one account to the other. Losing this key can cause us to lose our tokens in the future, because it can unlock the wallet and tokens can be transferred our using this key.
It does not allow for making posts or other social activities.

THE OWNER KEY
This is the most important key that should be kept very safe and secured. It is used to recover all other keys. When we lose this key, we have automatically lost our steemit account and nothing can be done about it. This key must be kept very safe to avoid the risk of losing our accounts.

THE MEMO KEY
This key is not commonly used today in steemit. But it's unique function is to encrypt and decrypt private messages that are sent to the blockchain.

Question 3

How do you plan to keep your master password?

I understand the importance of my master password and so I have saved it in a very safe place where no one can access. I was also encouraged to make an offline copy of it with which I did.
I never want to lose this key because this will mean losing my steemit account.

Question 4

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Yes I do.

• First step is to log in toy wallet
• Next I click on my steem balance and select transfer
• Next I input the name of the account I want to transfer to and the amount I want to transfer.
  

Question 5

Do you know how to power up your steem

Yes I do, see the steps below:

First step: I will log into my wallet
Next: I click on the steem balance and select power up.
Next: I'll input the amount of steem I want to power up and then I'll click on power up
