Hello Steemians, it's me once again. I've completed two achievements so, today I'm gonna make my 3rd achievement, which is mainly about "content manners". By this, the first thing that comes to our minds is "Plagiarism" right?

"Plagiarism"
Basically, it means presenting someone else’s work and labeling it as your own. By using someone's words, ideas or statements without using a proper acknowledgment. It is kind of a dishonesty too.
If you're demonstrating an idea or a statement without any proper citation you're taking all the credits of someone else' work.

"Types of plagiarism"
There are several types of plagiarism:

1- Copy/Paste Plagiarism
It is also known as direct plagiarism which includes conveying an idea or words from a source without giving any credits.

2-Global Plagiarism
It literally means taking someone's entire passage or idea and presenting it as your own, which also includes getting someone to write a passage or an assignment for you or copying a whole passage from online sources and taking all the credits.

3-Auto Plagiarism
It usually happens when an author recycles some specific sections or words from their previous work. Also considered as, submitting previous work as it's new.

4-Accidental Plagiarism
it's accidental if it's unintentional, meaning not knowing how to properly paraphrase or cite your research or passage. Not knowing the proper method can lead us to "accidentally plagiarize" someone's work.

5-Mosaic Plagiarism
It mainly occurs when you borrow ideas and passage from somewhere without citing and using quotation marks or use synonyms of the words while using the exact general formula of the passage. This type of plagiarism is also known as "Patch Work".

Avoiding Plagiarism
We can avoid plagiarism by:

° By directly paraphrasing or quoting someone's work or idea.
°By keeping track of the sources you use in your research.
°By making a citation list and crediting the original author.
°You can also use a 'Plagiarism Checker' there are tons of them online.
°By reviewing and proofreading.
°By summarizing and including the main source or reference.

It took time to fully understand the content etiquettes of steemit, but i finally understood them. I'll try my very best to not break any rule here. Good wishes to you all.
