Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?

Answer:

Yes, I retrieved all my keys on steemit while signing up, in which I was provided a pdf document to download. After downloading the file, I opened it up and discovered that it contained all my keys which includes:

• The Tron account keys: -Tron public key and Tron Private key.

• Steemit Posting Keys : Private posting key, Private memo key, Private active key and Private owner key

• Master Password.

• Steemit public keys : posting public, memo public, active public and owner public keys.

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Answer:

I have read and understood the functions and restrictions of each steemit key and from my understanding,

• The TRON public key is used for the transfer of tokens, Tokens are sent to the address of the public key
• The TRON private key is the most important key of my Tron account. It is used for TRON transactions such as transfer of tokens, freezing and unfreezing of TRX.
• The Private Posting Key is used to log in to one's steemit account so as to enable them post, edit, comment, vote, resteem and perform other activities on the platform.
• The Private Memo Key is used for encrypting and decrypting of private transfer memos when transferring funds.
• The Private Active Key is used for private and sensitive activities such as token transfers, steem power up, steem power down, placing a market order, updating profile details and conversion of steem dollars.
• The Private Owner Key is used to reset all other keys. In unfortunate cases where one's steem account is compromised, The Private Owner key can be used to recover the said account within a period of 30 days. It is to be secured with high priority.
• Master Password: This is used to generate the pdf document containing all the other keys and should only be used during account recovery. It is gotten during the signup process.

Question 3:

How do you plan to keep your master password?

Answer:

My master password will be written down in my private diary for safekeeping.

Question 4:

Do you know how to transfer steem tokens to another user?

Answer:

Personally, I have not transferred tokens to any user yet but I have read and understood the process. I was also shown how to do this by @simonnwigwe. To transfer steem token to another user,

1. I will have to login to my steem wallet, and click on the steem option and select transfer.
   

2. I will enter the account name of the receiver, the amount to be transferred and click on the next button.

3. Enter my active key as requested and click on OK.

Question 5:

Do you know how to power up?

Answer :

No, I do not know how to power up yet, but I'm willing to learn and I believe that I will, as I gain more experience on the steemit platform. 🥰
