Achievement 3 by @lealtafaith Task: Content Etiquette

Good day steemians!
How are you all today? I hope everyone's healthy and safe.

Today I feel excited because I'm gonna be posting my Achievement 3 after I successfully accomplished my Achievement 1 and 2.

Since young we are being taught of having proper etiquette according to the required behavior and protocols in our society so as in this platform wherein we have to know, learn and follow the required rules for us content writer to publish our own content and fully acknowledge and give courtesy to the owner when we get their works and ideas as our reference. Let us be mindful in other people's work to avoid plagiarism.

What is PLAGIARISM?

According to the Merriam-Webster online dictionary, to "plagiarize" means:
• to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own
to use (another's production) without crediting the source
• to commit literary theft
• to present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source^Source

As what I understand plagiarism is an act of owning someone else's work or even ideas. Consent is not appropriate also because we have to fully acknowledge and give full credit to the owner. By giving author's credit and acknowledge we also are giving courage to them for their great works and will surely inspired them to continue writing such wonderful and useful information.

Some of My Tips on How to Avoid Plagiarism
• Know and understand Plagiarism
• Create your own work
• Do research some information that you didn't understand
• Know how to properly cite your references or sources
• Know the copyright rules
• Always review
Also, you can research some ways on how to avoid plagiarism on any search engine you have.

Being a writer, we really need to double check and follow the proper etiquette. In Steemit Community we also have rules to follow. Here's The Complete Steemit Etiquette Guide that I have read and guided me for this task.

Rules are rules and all we have to do is to take some time to know, to learn, to follow and to apply it whenever we create our own content to avoid plagiarism that will lead us writers in commiting crime.

This task about Content Etiquette gives me additional knowledge as a writer. I remember the key word "think before you click" that my professor taught me way back that being on social media we must be extra careful in posting and sharing.
