I hope you'll are going good. My name is kashan ahmed khan and this is my Achievement 2 post which is about basic security on steem, so here is what I have learned so far.

Question 1:

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Answer:

Yes, I retrieve all my keys. After going on wallet section and then click on Keys and & Permissions
button and then retrieve my all keys and saved them on separate text file as a backup in my laptop.

Question 2:

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Answer:

Yes, I know each keys functions and restrictions.

Master Key:

This key is used to generate all others keys. With the help of master key, you can recover your account. This key is given to users after making their account on steemit and user use this key for login and then retrieve all keys.

Posting Key:

The function of this key is to post, comment, upvote, downvote, edit, resteem etc.

MEMO KEY:

This key is used to encrypt and decrypt of memos when transferring funds.

ACTIVE KEY:

This key is used to done more sensitive task which includes, power up/down transactions, converting steem dollars, vote for witnesses, updating profile details and avatar, transferring funds and placing a market order.

OWNER KEY:

This is the powerful key among all the keys because with the help of owner key, every keys will be change.

Question 3:

How do you plan to keep your master password?

Answer:

I saved my master password in text file on my laptop and upload that file on my goggle drive and also saved in my smartphone.

Question 4:

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Answer:

Yes , I know how to transfer steem token to another steem account . As the days are passing I'm actually understanding the rules better .
By using active key we can make all the transactions so first of all go to steem wallet then on the left a drop down bar will appear click on it which will show a option to transfer .You can transfer from it by filling the form .

Question 5:

Do you know how to power up your steem?

Answer:

Yes , I know how to power up steem . It is very similar to the transfer of steem token to the other account . To power up your steem ,First go to the wallet then on the left on top there is a drop down bar called steem click on it and it will show the option to power .
