LIFE OF A TEACHER

Some say teachers are born while some say teachers are made.
I had no vision of becoming a teacher but as I grew up I saw myself grooming my younger siblings,giving them instructions, leading small groups of people at church, even imparting knowledge to my younger neighbours and children who came to me for help in their school work...

Then the desire for being a teacher engulfed me...I saw myself in college of education ..later I graduated ...
I got a job in a school where the skills I exhibited and the knowledge I imparted to the learners marvelled the proprietor.
He looked at me one day and said "indeed real teachers are born not made".
I smiled and had confident of myself that I can do it even better...
What does this imply?
It implies that some teachers are born while some are made. Born teachers are the real teachers..they will never complain, nor get tired of their work...the work will always give them ioy..
But made teachers get tired easily, they nag, and rebel in their place of work, they may even change their minds about the work and go out looking for another work or change profession..

Many people pick teaching job because they are left with no choice or they do not see any other work to do. Which they will end up not being committed to the work. There by making their teaching process non-effective. At this point it is the learners that will suffer insufficiency of the skills and knowledge expected.
Now I have one sentence for us..
"Whatever u find yourself doing, do it with passion."
