“Code is like humor. When you have to explain it, it’s bad.” – Cory House

Hey, Steemian! It’s been a great time here. Hope you’re feeling it too? Today it is brain teaser, mind blower and problem solver. In case you skip a few mathematic classes in the elementary school, Steemit is gonna put thing straight at you. So, I begin coding again and I thought I will never be this techy in my life. But Steemit says, “NO…I must pass this gate before receiving my awaited GPA (grade point average)”.

“Knowledge is power.” – Francis Bacon

What does it mean Markdowns anyway?

Ok! I can see that Google lied… Is Google really, a liar? Far from it. The context here is different so don’t be misled by the word. We have our guest from Wiki, and Github to do the explanations.

Markdown is a lightweight markup language for creating formatted text using a plain-text editor. John Gruber and Aaron Swartz created Markdown in 2004 as a markup language that is appealing to human readers in its source code form. Wikipedia

In the same vain, this two links schooled me on the course titled: MARKDOWNS.

The above links have been very helpful with broad illustrations on the subject.

How to Apply Markdowns

You see, the headline is very important important in writing. If not properly done then readers may be discouraged.

Headlines is also called the H so, what is an headline?

Headline makes our posts organized. It is used to draw audience attention to an article, a headline should convey that information quickly and concisely. There are TAGS used for coding different headlines to give more preference to each of them.

Another aspect is using quotes to reference other authors works as discussed in Achievement3.
You'll see lists of great quotes here:

  • “Any fool can write code that a computer can understand. Good programmers write code that humans can understand.” – Martin Fowler
  • “First, solve the problem. Then, write the code.” – John Johnson
  • “Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes.” – Oscar Wilde
  • “ In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different” – Coco Chanel
  • “Sometimes it pays to stay in bed on Monday, rather than spending the rest of the week debugging Monday’s code.” – Dan Salomon
  • “Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but rather when there is nothing more to take away.” –
  • “Simplicity is the soul of efficiency.” – Austin Freeman
  • “Before software can be reusable it first has to be usable.” – Ralph Johnson
  • “Make it work, make it right, make it fast.” – Kent Beck
