ACHIEVEMENT 2 POST l @hibakhan28 l BASIC SECURITY ON STEEMIT

Assalam o alaikum and hello to all the beautiful steemians!

Hope you all are in good health and doing great.

So just few days back, i joined this productive platform and posted my achievement 1 ( https://steemit.com/hive-172186/@hibakhan28/achievement1-post-i-hibakhan28-i-introduction )and got verified. So basically its time to move forward and start to post about my next task which is about Basic security on steemit.

As a member of steemit, we all already knows steemit has a great concern regarding privacy and security of the account. A security sheild is all made for us to protect our personal data from being hacked.

I am answering the 5 question by which you will know how to secure 5 crucial keys that were given to us when we registered ourselves on steemit.

The basic and important questions are as follows:

Question 1: Have you retrieved all your keys on internet?

keys? If you remember, we have received them in a pdf form when each one of us were joining this amazing platform. So, yes i have secured all my keys by emailing the pdf to myself , on my phone, in my laptop and in a written notes form as well.

Question 2: Do you know each of these keys functions and restrictions?

Yes, i have thoroughly read about the functions of the keys. Let me describe their uses step by step:

1.Posting key

This key is so important as through this we login to our account. We can also use it to vote, comment or to follow or block others accounts on steemit.

2.Memo key:

Through this key, we can view or access our private messages.

3.Active key:

This key is basically use when we want to perform wallet related activities like in need of exchange or to transfer steem dollars .

4.Owner key:

One of the most important key. It is used when we want to change any key or you can make a use of this key in case you need to recover your account.

5.Master key:

The master key is the master of all other keys. This password is to be keep very safely because through this we can do all operations related to our account. W

Question 3: How are you going to save your master key?

Answer: Yes, I have stored this key in my laptop, icloud, and i have written it on a piece of paper for a safe side.

Question 4: Do you know how to transfer steem token to another steemit user account?

Answer: Yes i know the process of transfering the steem token to another steemit account. In order to do this, following steps are to be followed:

Step 1 it go to your steem wallet.

Step 2 it to cick on steem.

Step 3 is to click on Transfer.

Step 4 Enter the name of the steemit user whom you want to transfer the token.

Step 5 is to enter the amount.

Step 6 This is the last step in which you just have to click on next and then you are done with the transferring process.

Question 5: Do you know how to power up your Steem?

Answer: By taking the following steps give below, you can power up the steem.

Step 1 is to click on Steem.

Step 2 is to click on Power up.

Step 3 is to enter the amount you want to power up.

Step 4 Just click the button Power up.

I have completed the achievement 2 by answering all the given 5 questions. I hope it will help out the other newcomers on how to keep your keys safe, and to transfer or power up your steem.
