RE: Achievement 1: Verification through introduction by @abdul.rauf
Of course, this is very important for the newcomer verification process so that they don't just mention their friend's name. So there will be many fake accounts hanging around the steemit platform just to farm
If I will not comment on his post then you will not give the achievement 1 tag ?
Of course, I will not verify accounts of unclear origin. And you didn't validate this user on your comment either, instead asking me a question
On which bases, you are investigating and verifying the users 1st achievements ?
This is natural because I am a greeter, moderator in the newcomer community as well as May curator for newcomers
If you are from #steemwatcher you should already know our job as a greeter and if my actions are wrong, please @steemcurator01 to guide me
This strategy is not showing positive output. A lot of reward farmers and spammers are joining steemit day and night. We catch more than 30 users daily. Think about your strategy and take necessary action.
I can provide many users that are verified from newcomer community but involve in nepotism, rewards farming and spamming.
I am not saying that your action is wrong, don’t make conflict discussion. I just asked about your verification strategy.

In your opinion, that's true, but in my opinion there is no guarantee that the farming account will disappear total, you as a team should #steemwatcher support small things to reduce the farming account instead of providing freedom
@inspiracion @radjasalman @ripon0630
He is innocent new user. I know personally. You can give verified tag
And if we were to take your word that this user is "innocent new user" then @heriadi wouldn't be doing his job. There have been plenty of Greeters in the past who have abused their position on this platform, @heriadi is not one of them.
Many users have been awarded a modicum of power / responsibility and abused this privilege. If you believe that your role as a "watcher" entitles you to demand that some users are verified without going through the vetting process, then you are mistaken. Your insistence that this user is verified without question undermines the work that this community does.
Yes, it is. There's an entire ecosystem behind this community, run by respected members of Steemit. Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean that it isn't there.
In that case, why aren't you highlighting these users to the administrators rather than criticising somebody who spends a lot of time reviewing and greeting new accounts?
If you're catching 30 users every day, why are there still so many scammers on Steemit? It's not the Newcomers' community's fault. It suggests to me that your strategy is not showing positive output and you need to reconsider your approach.
