The first thing that she told me about this task was very interesting. She told me about Master Password. Thank you so much for reaching in a good way. Now I'm able to understand. There are some codes in the form of keys. We must have to secure 🔐 our keys. Because there are scammers and hackers that can steel our keys.
To avoid this , we must be careful about Keys. Must keep safe your wallet. Keep your keys offline. At least , master password can't be generated again. So that we should keep it safe. Through master password we can generate our new keys.
Have you retrieve your keys on Steemit?
The answer is yes. We must keep our password safe. Because without master password we can't use our account. Always try to keep your master password safe offline. Must copy it and then paste in your diaries or notepads. It must be include in our habits that try to copy and paste your password anywhere.
Do you know of these functions and restrictions?
Yes , I know the functions of designated keys. She guided me about functions of different keys. The Posting Key is used for log in, posting,commenting, doing transactions just like , sending tokens and for other purposes. Posting key helps us to upvote, resteem, edit, follow or mute each other.
The owner key is also important one. By using this we can change our account.
Memo Key is one of the most important key. This is used for transferring funds, encrypting and decrypting.
Active key is the most important key. This is a key where we can transferring funds, power up or power down. Converting tokens, upvoting witness, updating profile and market order.
The Master Password is also very important. When we lose our other keys. Then we can regenerate our keys through master password.
How do you plan to keep your Master Password?
Like the other password keys, I keep it safe on my personal diary. I have copied master password and I wrote in my personal diary. After that I saved it in my Google drive. So that I can easily get my keys passwords.
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem account?
Actually it was not easy to learn each and everything in one wave. But I tried my best to learn about keys. I know keys are integral part of Steemit. My friend guided me about this one.
Click on Wallet. Then there is an option of Transfer. By clicking on this we can transfer.
Just Enter the steemit username including the steem amount that are we going to transfer and click the word Next. By proceeding, we need to put the active key and then click to proceed.
Do you know how to Power Up Steem?
As I know about powering up, there are some screen shots from my account.
Click the Steem and choose the option of Power Up. This is the method of how we can power up.
Input the amount of steem you want to Power Up and click Proceed. Also, it needs an active key to proceed powering up.
