ACHIEVEMENT1: MY INTRODUCTORY POST BY @gerakam

GREETINGS STEEMIT FRIENDS
I AM @gerakam FROM
CAMEROON.

How are we all doing? Am sure we're all fine and steeming great by the special Grace of God. I have been hearing about steemit from many people and when I got it from @paddykam, I was interested but always complained of time. But when I saw him participating in steemit given his busy daily schedule, I took it as a challenge that I can equally do it.
So permit me use this opportunity to thank him for his encouragement and the CEO. of steemit for this great and exciting platform. Am therefore happy to belong.

My name is Khan Geraldine. I am 35years old and a Cameroonian citizen. I live in Bamenda in the North west region of Cameroon precisely in Mile 4 nkwen. I studied marketing in the University of Bamenda and my area of specialization was Customer Care and prospection. I obtained a degree in Business Administration. Since it was not easy to get a job upon graduation i had to offer a lot of voluntary services to keep myself busy and equally to put into practice what I learned from school. I didn't know how difficult it is to get a job until when I faced the job market. Covid 19 has come and the situation is worst. I really pity those still going to school and managing the pandemic at the same time.
MY HOBBIES
I like watching movies especially Philippine films. I like team games especially handball. Am always happy whenever I contribute in the success of my team. I like cooking as well especially my traditional dishes like Achu and yellow soup.

THE NAME OF MY VILLAGE
The name of my village is Pinyin in Santa subdivision in Mezam. Most of the villagers there are farmers. They grow crops for consumption and only sell some to buy what they cannot produce. They equally depend on agriculture to send their children to school.

MY EXPECTATIONS IN STEEMIT 

I dream to be a wonderful and great lady. I like working for myself (self employed). I want to be successful in life in such a way that others can depend on me for assistance. I joined steemit so that in a long run, I should be able to help myself, my family and the community at large. The government can never employ everybody and i will be happy if I help in job creation.

I therefore take this opportunity to appreciate the CEO. of steemit for this great initiative and newcomers community. I equally thank the leaders of steem Cameroon community and my fellow steemians for creating the awareness not forgetting @paddykam.
