Defination

Thus, Markdowns refer to simple commands that are applied to a text, giving it an editorial presentation, ease of assessing and finding any links or sources from which it comes from.

Applications of Markdown.

Headings

Setting Headings and sub-headings are made possible using a #, as shown below.

This is achieved using a ## and ### at the beginning of the heading. The more the # the more the headline decreases.

Italics

In making a post some sentences are stressed to show warning or importance using italics. For instance, one says , as you write be aware of the consequences of plagiarism.

This is done by putting an * at the beginning and end of the sentence or phrase.

Justify Text

When i was seven years old, mother permitted me to follow my older cousins to the village stream.
I walked for about 45 mins before arriving there, and could not jump into the water as others did as soon as we arrived. Because i was tired and the water was so cold.

To justify the above paragraph i applied <div class=''text-justify''> at the beginning and at the end.
