VOTING

Voting on steemit can be defined as an act of showing encouragement support or discouragement towards another users post on the blog platform. when a user encourages a post this is simply known as UPVOTE and when a user dicorages a post due to false or fake content it is known as DOWNVOTE .
Whenever a user votes on a content , his/her voting mana decreases from 100 percent , and this results to lesser rewards for the users to come, this voting mana replaces itself my 20 percent daily.
A user is allowed to vote up to 10 times on the steemit platform but this has consequences as it reduces ones influence and spreads the time for the replenishing of ones voting mana.
Voting weight can be adjusted according to a users prefererence , but this feature can only be accessed by users who have a total of 500 steem power and above, but at the same time this reduces a users voting influence.

CURATION

Curation on the steemit platform is simply known as voting , when one user upvotes another users posts this is simply known as curation and the user is known as a curator. those rewards awarded to a curator is simply known as curation rewards. the reward on a post when voted on is always shared 50/50 between the author and the curator. a user can decide to automatically curate posts by joining the curation trail. this simply means that when ever a user votes on a post, everyone on that curation trail automatically votes on that post or comment.

What happens if you vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?

This simply reduces the curation reward from 100 percent. 50 percent reward for the author is expected to be claimed but if the post is voted by the curator before 5 minutes . then the reward reduces from an initial 100 percent .

Moment of posting	100 percent of posting remians in the reward pool
one minute	20 percent is gained by the curator and 80 percent stays in the pool
two minute	40 percent gained by the curator and 60 percent stays back in the pool
three minute	60 percent received by the curator and 40 percent stays back in the reward pool
four minutes	80 percent received by the curator and 20 percent stays in the reward pool
five minutes	100 percent reward goes to the curator

i will vote @jerryofkingz because he introduced me to the steemit platform . he is my guy and a very creative person at that, although he is a troublesome person Lol.
I also appreciate @sonofremi and @srrebullient they showed me the basics of the platform and they have made my experience quite easy and smooth so far. i really appreciate you all.

Which community will you join in Steemit, and why?

talking about the community i will like to join on this platform, that would defintely be @campusconnectng. i was introduced to the community by @jerryofkingz and since then their assistance has been worth it. in this community i have been able to build my reputation significantly as i push to join the crypto academy . my special regards to @whitestallion , he has put in great work and effort in the community making it one of the bests.
