Achievement 2: @est.ticc's Task: Basic Security on Steem

Hi everyone. Having read and understood all information on my Steem keys as well as the security measures and additional tasks, this is my achievement 2 post as a newcomer.

Question 1: Have you retrieved all your keys on Steemit?
Yes, I have been able to retrieve all my Steemit keys. After registration, it was created in a PDF format which I downloaded and saved securely in my Google Drive and Files.

Question 2: Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
There are four Steem keys:
-Posting key: This key allows users to perform everyday activities on the platform like logging in, following accounts, muting accounts, and so on. A limited posting key is to restrict the damage that a compromised account key would cause because a user is more likely to have his/her key compromised the more this key is used.

-Memo key: The memo key is used during funds transfer to encode and decode memos (short messages which can be attached to transferring Steem tokens).

-Active key: Transferring funds, powering up/down transactions, converting Steem Dollars, voting for witnesses, updating profile details, etc. can be achieved using this key. These sensitive tasks including placing an order can be done using the active key.

-Owner key: This gives full management of other keys and is much rather used in the recovery of a compromised account. It, therefore, is best to store this key offline.

Question 3: How do you plan to keep your master password?
Thankfully, Google Drive is one of the safest places to store documents and information. I would most preferably store it as a document on private folders on my devices, on my Google Drive, and my Google Files. I could also store it as a contact on my phone with a code name replacing the contact name.

Question 4: Do you know how to transfer your Steem token to another Steem user account?
The following images illustrate the steps required in transferring a Steem token from one user to another (e.g., me to you).

• Log in to the Wallet using your username and private posting key.

• Click on the 'STEEM" dropdown, then click on 'transfer'.

• Fill the fields appropriately.

Question 5: Do you know how to power up your Steem?
