ACHIEVEMENT TASK 2 BY @desirebecky: BASIC SECURITY ON STEEMIT.

Hello Steemians,

This is my achievement task 2 and I'm going to be talking about my basic knowledge on Steemit security and the use of my Steemit wallet. I wanna say thank you to @alexanderpeace for her mentorship. I have taken out time to read through the information about my Steemit account safety and I'm still trying to understand it better.
First of all, Security is the measure we take to keep our important belongings safe and out of harm's way.

HAVE YOU RETRIEVED ALL YOUR KEYS ON STEEMIT?
Yes I have. My mentor helped me retrieve them the day I got registered.

Q2
DO YOU KNOW EACH OF THESE KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS?
Active Key- This is a unique and sensitive key for Steemit monetary transactions. It is used for transferring funds, converting Steem Dollars, powering up/down transactions,placing market order, voting for witnesses and updating profile details and avatar.

Memo Key- Steemit is a blockchain base social media network. This key can only be used for private messaging. It is used for encrypting and decrypting memo when transferring funds. The pound/# sign is used before a memo to encrypt it.

Posting Key- This key cannot be used to conduct financial transactions. It is required on Steemit platform for functions such as posting,voting, resteeming, editing, commenting, following or muting other accounts. This key is used to login daily.

Owner Key- This is the most powerful key because it gives the owner complete control over his account. It can be used to change any key of an account, including the owner key. It can also be used to restore a compromised account and it is a sensitive key.

Public Key- These keys are not required for any major operations in Steemit. They are visible to the public and are linked to a users username.

Master Password- This is used to derive all keys for my account, including the owner key. It is meant to be kept private.

TRON Account Private Key- This key is required to sign transactions such as voting, freezing and transferring tokens. It is the highest authority in TRON account.

TRON Public Key- It is used for transfers.

I should endeavor to keep my master password and keys safe and also make sure not to share them with any third party.
When logging in with my posting key, I should make sure not to overwrite or misplace my master password.

HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP YOUR MASTER PASSWORD?
I realized that passwords, when lost, cannot be retrieved, so I wrote it down in my diary and software document.

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEEM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEEM USER ACCOUNT?
I know how to. Below is the procedure.

Click on profile

Click on wallet
Click on sign in

Click on Steem option

Click on transfer
Input username of receipt and amount
Click on next

*Transactions will be enabled.

Yes I do. Below is the procedure.
From the wallet,
Click on the Steem drop down box
Click power up

• Input the amount of Steem *
  Click on the power up button
