What is PLAGIARISM?

To me i think this is the act of copying and pasting an authors content , claiming to be the original owner of the content.

Types of plagiarism
We have about four differnet types of plagiarisn

• Direct Plagiarism
  This is the act of copying and pasting author's work, without citing the source or paraphrasing to add your own ideas. From the name direct, it actually means copying and pasting. Such act is highly prohibited in steemit.

• Self Plagiarism
  This has to do with you trying to repost your old content on steemit. Yes it is a plagiarism act and it is not accepted on steemit.

• Mosaic Plagiarism:
  This is the act of copying different Author's contents from different groups, bringing them together to form your own content. Such act is plagiarism and its not allowed on steemit.

• Accidental plagiarism:
  As the names implies accidental, this has to do with a user writing a content without knowing that someone else's has written on same content.

How to avoid plagiarism

If you want to avoid plagiarism, you must have to correctly site the sources into your content. And again i'll advice you always use a pliagarism checker before you post.

Conclusion

Plagiarism is very bad, and unethical. We shouldn't bring down our reputation by copying people's post. Just pick a pen and bring your ideas to life. We all have something to write about.

I have read and understand how i can avoid a plogiarized pist in the steemit community, and i promise to adhere to this rule.
