Hello all, I have successfully finished my first achievement post and my second achievement post and am pleased that it has been verified. So now I move to my third achievement post which is as follows:

What is plagiarism

According to my own knowledge of plagiarism, it is the act of taking peoples contents or writings without acknowledging them. It can also be said to be the process of copying what is not yours without the owner’s knowledge.

Forms of Plagiarism

According to my knowledge, there are series forms of plagiarism. All this forms are very bad to involve in as a COMTENT WRITER and most importantly as a user of this great community. I have explained some of them below In which I believe are very common.

•Direct plagiarism
•Self plagiarism
•Accidental plagiarism

Direct Plagiarism This is a form of plagiarism when you copy a work that is not your word by word without no difference at all.

Personal Plagiarism This is a form of plagiarism when you copy a previous work that is been made by yourself

Accidental Plagiarism This is a form of plagiarism that is been made accidentally. It’s not the form dat happens on purpose. It might happen through the fact of not giving content the citation of where it is been sourced.

How can we avoid plagiarism as a CONTENT WRITER

I believe we can avoid plagiarism by sharing out thoughts whenever we want to create a content. When you share what is your mind, what you personally understand about what you want to write, no doubt with this you can never involve in plagiarism.
Also when you want to tap ideas from other people’s work, you should make sure you quote and cite the source of what you are tapping in.
Whenever you want to copy anything anywhere, mak sure you cite the link of where you got it. With this, I think you are think you are good to go with the community requirement.

EXAMPLES

Below is a pictorial representation of a picture I got on the internet which is not mine and which I sourced

AE3F243A-8D8E-4128-BE94-4BE62C825AE9.jpeg
SOURCE

Below is a content in which I copied just to make an example and which i quoted. This process exempts this from been tagged as plagiarism due to the fact that I quoted and sourced it.

Citation
It is not sufficient to simply note that “text source is Wikipedia”. A link to the specific Wikipedia page where the content came from is required. If numerous sources were used, adding the source after each separate idea is recommended.
Every copy/pasted sentence should be either in quotes “” or formatted using the > markup.
Every paraphrased paragraph, sentence or idea should have a reference as close to it as reasonably possible to indicate its origin.
