ACHIEVEMENT 2: BASIC SECURITY ON STEEM by: @dasigshella

Good day my fellow steemians! Since I've already verified in Achievement 1, which is Self Introduction, allow me to proceed my Achievement 2 which is the Basic Security On Steem.

These are the sequence of questions that we need to know on how important these keys are and how powerful protecting our account in steemit.

1.HAVE YOU RETRIEVE ALL YOUR KEYS IN STEEMIT?
Yes, I retrieve all my keys in my phone's notepad and then screenshots for making it safely.

2.DO YOU KNOW EACH OF THESE KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS?
Yes, a little bit but i did some research just to clarify of what are these about.

Types of Keys:
1.Posting Key
2.Active Key
3.Memo Key
4.Owner Key
5.Public Key

POSTING KEY is used for the least secure facets of the blockchain.
-posting posts or articles to steem
-commenting or replying to another posts
-upvoting or downvoting another posts

ACTIVE KEY is mostly used in financial aspects of steem, relating to your steem balances and SBD reserves:
-transferring steem or SBD out of your account
-transferring steem or SBD into your savings
-powering up and powering down steem
-changing account settings (such as your profile picture)

MEMO KEY can do encrypt and decrypt private messages that are sent through blockchain.

OWNER KEY is the most important and powerful key and should be securely stored offline. It can reset owner, active and posting key and as well recover your account.

PUBLIC KEY are associated with username and can be look up associated transactions on the blockchain. Your public key are not required to login on steemit.com and you dont need to store these safely.

3.HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP YOUR MASTER PASSWORD?
I saved it on my phone's notepad and screenshot for making it safely and secured.

4.DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEEM TOKEN TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT?
Yes, I've done it once but the help of @mercy11 @mayann. But now i've learned on my own way.

These are the steps on how to transfer your steem token to another account:

1.Go to your wallet

2.Click the Steem Dollar then transfer

3.Put the name you've wanted to transfer

4.Put the amount you've wanted to transfer then Next.

It's okay if you did not fill up the Memo

5.DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOU STEEM?

Yes! first, you need to go to your wallet. Second, click the Steem and power up.
