Plagiarism is the act of using someone work or idea as your own without quoting it or showing the source. This will result as self done work meanwhile it was someones work that being presented without their notice . The way to bypass plagiarism is termed to be citation.

Citation tells the way a work or idea comes from another source. It help encourage individual. It also help individual to do personal work. Quotation marks are used to indicate citation and also showing source (where you get it from).

Plagiarism can be classified in many ways. Namely; direct plagiarism, self plagiarism, mosaic plagiarism, accidental plagiarism and global plagiarism

Direct plagiarism: it happens when a work or idea is copied word to word without quotation marks or indicating source.

Mosaic Plagiarism: it occurs when a student borrows phrases from a source without using quotation marks, or finds synonyms for the author’s language while keeping to the same general structure and meaning of the original. Source

Global plagiarism: it happens when someone presenting an entire text by someone else as your own work.
