The Steem Greet Community

Hello everyone! This is the first official post in this Steem Greet community! In this post, I would like to lay out the rules (so far), and what you can expect from this community! First of all, I would like to lay out some rules:

Rules

1.) Please only post in this community if you are a new user, or if you are a part of the Steem Pod Project.

2.) Please refrain from posting anything unrelated to the Pro Minnow Achievement Program, or responses to the Greeters' challenges. Anything unrelated to these things may be muted at the discretion of the moderators.

While we obviously love to see all of the content that new users want to post, the point of this community is to narrow down the content we are looking through to stuff related to a new user's growth here on Steem. With that in mind, we ask that you do not post anything unrelated to the New Comer Achievement System, or the challenges laid out by myself and my fellow greeters: @cryptokannon @kiwiscanfly and @mariita52.

3.) Posts must be original, and cite instances where sources were used.

4.) Images should be used with permission if not in the common use.

The purpose of this community is to instill good posting habits in new users so that they will have success here on Steem. These two rules are essential when writing Steem articles in order to ensure that copyright laws are upheld here on Steem.

5.) Please refrain from using inflammatory and/or offensive language and/or images. Anything that violates this rule may be muted at the discretion of the moderators.

While that kind of content is present elsewhere on Steem, this community is meant to foster growth for new users by creating a positive and welcoming environment.

6.) We reserve the right to change these rules as the need arises.

What you can expect

We have several plans for the future, I intend to make one more pinned article with links to all of the different plans once we have discussed them and laid them out. For now, this article is just laying the ground rules.
