Achievement1-Introductory Post to Steemit

They say introductions sing songs of praises and cover up deficiency and weaknesses. And yet, I do not wish to praise myself nor spell out things that put me down. I simply wish to say what is real about my personality and hopefully attract the right attention and like-minded potential. So the following lines tell nothing but my truth.

I am Baba Sulemana Abdul Aziz Damba . I am 23 years of age. I am an African from Ghana, Tamale to be town-specific. I study Bsc. Telecommunication Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. I fancy myself a Pan Africanist, so I involve myself in matters of African development and matters of national interest. My all-time favorite Pan Africanist is Prof. Patrick Lumumba.

I ventured into crypto about a year or two ago. I had no capital to invest so the only option available was to mine. My machine’s power was very low given that it’s GPU was strong enough. This meant that if I still had the desire to mine crypto, I had to buy harsh power to boost my mining power. Obviously, I could not boost up since I didn’t have any money to invest. I had to make due with what little hardware, power and GPU I had. The minimum amount of bitcoin you had to gain you could move your earnings to a bitcoin wallet was 0.005 btc. When I hit the minimum withdrawal mark and tried moving my earnings into my bitcoin wallet, the payment did not reflect in the wallet. After exhausting my machine and consuming power, I had nothing to show for it the end. This made me lose all interests in crypto.

I read a variety of stuff but what intrigues me most is poetry. The sense of joy and sense of accomplishment you get from deciphering every line and stanza in a poem is soothing and limitless. ’IF’ by Rudyard Kipling is my favorite among all the poem I have come across. In my leisure time, I watch Anime. Every character is designed to teach life lessons and of course create humor. Football is also something I follow but I am not too immersed into it. I like video games in general but I prefer football games to adventure games.

It would make sense that I would follow stuff I am interested in, but I would prefer to remain open to everything that is presented on steemit. Who knows I probably might get to like something more dearly than poetry, though I do not see that ever happening. This means I will be interested things which will create sparks and ignite my passion to study them.
Most of the content I will be posting on this platform will be related to poetry but room will be reserved for contents from other fields. Since I like writing and sharing my views on various fields, It will be nice to have an audience like the steemit community that will actually read and give me feedback on the issues I raised.
