Hello y'all 😌 it's me again being very grateful to @juichi for verifying my Achievement 5.4 post,giving me the go ahead for my Achievement 6 post titled; Understanding curation and Community.

Here I'll be answering and evuluating everyone on the following questions based on curation, witnesses and Community;

Do you understand how voting and curation work on Steemit?

To begin I'll like to define the following key terms Voting and Curation .
Voting
This is the way steemit users expressed their minds on a post apart from replying, it is easy to do and only requires the voter to click a button and a vote is launched.
On the steemit platform,there are two types of voting, Upvotes and downvote, these two type of votes come with either an added reward to the author or a deduction to the reward of the author after seven days elapses.

According to this photo, 👆 the arrow pointing up,is the Upvotes button while the one pointing downwards is the downvote button.
The type of votes casted on a post solely depends on the voter,but it is mostly advisable to Upvotes posts than downvote unless necessary,or in a case of a plagiarised post.

This is how rewards are given to the author,when a user with more SP votes on a post,the rewards increases drastically,this is due to the voters Influence on your post based on his or her SP,and do the same thing happens when your post is downvoted only that the rewards for an Upvotes is 3 times more than that of a down vote.
For each user, there's what we call a voting Mana which represents the amount of votes you've casted it starts from 100% for all users, now for each post you vote on,the Mana reduces by 2% and once it reaches a certain low value is advisable to let it recharge.
Let me demonstrate by showing how it works.

Before I started making this post I let my voting manner recharge up to 100%, so that's my manner before voting.

Curation

Curation is the process of voting, when a user see a post,reads that post,finds it interesting, the user votes the post,that's curating.
In the steemit community,there are special curators who give huge rewards to posts of interest and sometimes using the right hashtags # can attract them to your post for an upvoting,these curators include; @steemcurator01, @steemcurator02 to @steemcuarator08.
They work on a daily basis to ensure steem users get rewarded for their hard work.

What happens if you vote a post before 5 minutes mark after posting?

When a post is made, there's a reward pool that follows up, this pool is shared between the author and curators(voters) in the ratio 50:50.
Voting a post before the 5 minute mark after posting will give a curator less than the 100% rewards (>50%), and the curators who vote towards the 5 minutes mark receive a steady increase of the rewards form the reward pool meanwhile the reward pool experience a decrease.

Which community will you join in steemit and why?

Initially, I joined the Newcomer's community first because of the achievement posts I had to write and all the updates it has given me.
The second community I joined was the Steemit crypto academy because I wanted to learn more about the crypto world and get rewards.
Then I joined the Steem Cameroon community because of my origin.
After which I joined the Steem for better life community because if it's charitable nature.
Then from there I joined a bunch of communities because I wanted to participate in their contests and get more rewards.

Also I voted some witnesses on the steemit community because of the great contributions they've made to the community and to my life in every little way.
For every steem user is given 30 witness votes and the user is supposed to choose from the list of witnesses which witness they will vote for.
These are some of the few I voted for.
