So, plagiarism is an act of copying other work, and giving credits to yourself is known as plagiarism. That includes using other's images, videos, posts, and quotes and giving credits to yourself instead of giving credits to the original owner.

There are some types of plagiarism which are following as:

  • Copying and pasting

  • Accidental plagiarism

  • Self-plagiarism

  • Copying and pasting

Copying and pasting is ordinary plagiarism like you copy and paste someone else work and giving yourself a credit for it instead of giving it to the original owner.

  • Accidental plagiarism

Accidental plagiarism is a type of unexpected plagiarism in which your words and sentence structure are similar to someone else or your work and idea are the same as the other ones are known as accidental plagiarism.

Why should we not plagiarise?

In my point of view stealing is an illegal act no matter how big or small it is because you are stealing other's original and unique work if you steal someone's works you will lose your creativity, there is no shortcut if you want to be the best, you have to come up with your own, original, unique and particular works and ideas that have the ability to be the only one standing when it comes to the originality of it.

How to avoid plagiarism?

It is quite simple actually, first of all, we have to make the promise to ourselves to not steal other's work and even if we are using it, it's just for sake of backing up our arguments with proper attribution and recognition. So, In simple words, the best and the most optimal way to avoid plagiarism is if you are using someone else work or anything else just mentions their source or give credit to the real owner.
