Achievement Task 2: BASIC SECURITY ON STEEM by @Bigbabs

Hello everyone... Hope y'all are having a great day ? Here i come again posting on my second Achievement task which is "BASIC SECURITY ON STEEM"

HAVE YOU RETRIEVE ALL YOUR KEYS ON STEEMIT?
YES , I immediately retrieved all my KEYS after completing my STEEMIT registration

DO YOU KNOW EACH OF THESE KEYS FUNCTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS?
Of course, I understand each and every keys function and restriction

All STEEMIT keys:

1. Master Key
2. Owner Key
3. Active Key
4. Posting key
5. Memo Key

EACH KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS

1. MASTER KEY: The master is the most important key amongst all other keys and is used to generate all other keys. Master key is mainly requested when you want to recover your account.
2. OWNER KEY: The owner key can be used to change any key of an account, including the owner key itself. Hence, making it a POWERFUL key. It is important that this key is used only when necessary and ideally should be stored offline, and only used to recover a compromised account.
3. ACTIVE KEY: The ACTIVE KEY is used for monetary and wallet related actions, such as transferring tokens or powering STEEM up and down.
4. POSTING KEY: Used to log in to apps such as Steemit.com and perform social actions such as posting, commenting, and voting.
5. MEMO KEY: A Memo key is simply used to decrypt private transfer memos

HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP YOUR MASTER PASSWORD?
I kept my Master password in possibly the most secured way by saving it both offline and online (writing it down in my diary and also saving it to my Gmail)

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEEM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEEM USER ACCOUNT?

OFCOURSE, I understand how to transfer my Steem token to another Steem user account.
Here are Steps to follow

Step 1: Click on "Wallet"

Step 2: Click on the STEEM TOKEN you have, in my case I have 2.425 STEEM as shown with the red arrow

Step 3: Click on "Transfer"

---

Step 4: Fill the form, input the username of user you want to transfer STEEM TOKEN to in the "To" field and also input the amount of STEEM TOKEN you want to transfer in the "Amount" field. Lastly, input your public MEMO key in the "Memo" field and click the "Next" button.

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM?
YES! I do and I have shown step-by-step guide on how to go about it below

Step 1: Click on "Wallet"

Step 2:* Click on the STEEM TOKEN you have, in my case I have 2.425 STEEM as shown with the red arrow

Step 3:Select "Power Up"



Step 4: Fill the form, Select the amount of STEEM you want to power up in the "Amount" field. Then, click the "Power Up" button.

CONCLUSION

i find STEEMIT to be an interesting platform and i have been gaining more experience ever since i joined this platform and also grateful for this opportunity. Hope you enjoyed reading my #achievement2 post.
