Hello fellow steemians. Trust you had a great day?
After being verified by @aniqamashkoor on my achievement 3 post, here I come again with my next achievement post which is Achievement 4 with the title: Applying Markdown.
I will like to talk about my country applying the various markdowns from the post article by @cryptokannon on the subject "Applying Markdown".

GHANA ___________________________

To commence, Ghana is a country located in the Western part of Africa. Ghana was initially called the Gold coast by the Portuguese who first arrived in Ghana because they found gold on the sea shores.

Ghana shares boundaries Burkina Faso to the North, Togo to the East ,Ivory Coste to the West and to the south The Atlantic ocean. In 1957 Ghana became the first country to gain independence from their colonial masters and I will like to post a comment by Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

This statement was declared on the Independence Day at the Independence Square now the Black Star Square. Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah became the first prime minister and later the first President of this great Country. Ghana consists of 16 regions with the capital town being Accra in the Greater Accra Region.

Ghana is a multinational state . It is one of the highly populated countries in west Africa and consists of about ³² million citizens who come from different ethnic groups with different languages.

The country is also endowed with numerous festivals of which some are illustrated in the Table below.

The three₍₃₎ main religions in Ghana are Christianity, Islam and African Traditional Religion.

Ghana like many African countries are blessed with a lot of natural resources and to list some are;

Timber,
gold,
diamonds,
bauxite,
manganese,
oil,
cocoa and
water bodies to mention but a few.

Ghana has a lot of tourist sites. As a country, Ghana has a national anthem which unites the people and reminds them of the struggles their forefathers went through in their fight for independence. The anthem was composed by - Philip Gbeho .

Below is the stanza 1 of the national anthem of Ghana

God bless our homeland Ghana,
And make our nation great and strong,
Bold to defend forever,
The cause of Freedom and of Right.
Fill our hearts with true humility
Make us cherish fearless honesty,
And help us to resist oppressor's rule
With all our will and might for evermore.
