I’m back again to complete the achievement 2, which concerns the fundamental security on steem.
HOW TO KEEP STEEM ACCOUNT SECURE.
In order to keep your account secured you need to get familiar with the different types of keys operated in your steem accounts. These keys will be discussed on the basis of merit.
This is to enhance and get new-users to understand and obtain basic knowledge on how their master password works as well as understand the very essence and the use of their steem-wallet.
RETRIEVE ALL KEYS ON STEEMIT?
yes I have.
I have saved account logging detail as draft in my Gmail, offline in notes or hidden having taken a picture of it.
FUNCTIONS OF EACH KEY AND RESTRICTIONS
POSTING KEY - The posting enable a user to post, comment, edit, vote, resteem, and mute other user’s accounts or follow.
ACTIVE KEY - The key allow a user to make transactions, place orders converting steem dollars, witnesses voting and updating profile details.
OWNER KEY - The key is use to recover a compromised account.
MEMO KEY - The very essence of the key is for encryption and decryption in the course of making transactions. The pound # sign is place before a memo to encrypt it.
HOW DO I KEEP MY MASTER PASSWORD
I have offline folders were I keep my keys. The keys also saved as draft in my Gmail account.
HOW TO TRANSFER MY STEEM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEEM USER ACCOUNT
First of all, look for your profile icon at the top right corner on your screen and then click on it to open a drop down menu for you.
Next, look for Wallet from the drop down menu and click on it.
Next, look for a downward pointing arrow attached a floating number + STEEM “(xx.xxx STEEM )” and click on the arrow to open a drop down menu.
Next, choose “transfer”among the drop down list.
Next, Enter the steemit username of the receiver of the transfer into “To” form input space and the amount you’re sending into the “Amount” space.
Click on “next” to established the transaction.
HOW TO POWER UP STEEM
Firstly, Look at the top right corner of your screen, a profile icon, and click on it to open a drop down menu.
Next, look for Wallet from the drop down menu and click on

Next, click on power up among the drop down list.
Next, Input the amount that you are going to power up.
Next, click on power up to verify transaction.
