Technical innovation often manifests itself via the engineering process when the problem being solved is of a technical or scientific nature. The opposite of innovation is renovation.
Definition of innovation?
Innovation is a significant positive change. It is a result. An acceptable result. It's something you work to achieve in a project. If you succeed in solving important problems, your respected colleagues will call your work innovative and call you an innovator.
Why does an organization need innovation?
Innovation helps you stay ahead of the competition.
Innovative thinking can help you anticipate the market and keep pace with customer demand.
So there is no substitute for innovation to expand and make your business profitable. Adopting changes in the current global market will only help you to survive.
How much innovation is necessary for the sustainable growth of RMG industry in Bangladesh?
In the competitive global market, the prices of essential goods have increased, but the prices of ready-made garments have remained low. So factories need to diversify their product offerings through innovation and value addition to survive. Innovative strategies based on teamwork and greater employee participation in the manufacturing process of apparel manufacturing to streamline processes, develop more efficient systems, and modernize operations within the apparel industry are essential components of the apparel sector. Supply chain technology makes processes more efficient, while data analytics, garment fitting, recycling, advanced machinery, and a revolutionary virtual garment marketplace, artificial intelligence and augmented reality help guide manufacturing, purchasing, and business decisions.
So to survive in the competitive market, innovative thinking has to be accelerated which will make us more creative.
Why should the sample section be innovative?
The sample is intended as represent the whole process of ready-made garments. To survive in the competitive global market, the sample section needs to be innovative in order to submit samples on time and reduce sample costs. We have prioritized the following steps to innovate the sample section.

1. Purpose: The first objective of sample innovation is to increase production, introduce innovative designs, and make more work using technology that improves quality, supports bulk production, and makes downstream production technically efficient. Which will serve as the mission, vision, values, and strategic plan of the sample innovation organization. Fundamental considerations for any innovation proposal go to its core purpose. Prototype innovation is no exception as its main goal is rapid implementation.
2. Impacts: Any objectives naturally both convey and follow through on proposed project impacts. Consider the direct/indirect benefits of sample innovation, success, retention, timely delivery of samples, new design efficiency, cost reduction, and how the results will affect individuals and relationships.
3. Cost: Sample innovation's biggest challenge is cost reduction, cost considerations are significant, but the context of purpose and impact can mitigate cost barriers. Direct and real costs are relatively easy to predict and estimate. Therefore, modern construction style, sustainable raw materials, production efficiency and technology should be relied upon. The same person will complete more than one task to reduce manpower. For example, whoever makes the pattern will make the grading and markers. As one operator completes all operations. It should be remembered that production is the process through which raw material is transformed into a usable product, so there should not be any disturbance in the transforming process.
4. Assessment: Planning for evaluation and accountability is an important consideration as it will help achieve goals. That's why proper evaluation is necessary to make the sample section innovative. Finalizing measures of success for each considering quantitative and qualitative aspects, direct and indirect indicators, leading and lagging indicators, external benchmarks and internal targets, and feedback. The evaluation plan is strategic which will help everyone to be proactive.
