STEEM PLANTS CONSTEST WEEK #8//Mini Orchids by @dayandre
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes unas hermosas Orquídeas es la flor nacional de mi pais, pero además se consiguen miles de especies de esta planta con diversos colores, matices y tamaños. Hoy fui a visitar a mis padres a su casa y me deleité observando como siempre todas las plantas que tienen desde plantas medicinales, frutos, ornamentales, cactus, pero entre todas las plantas me llamó mucho la atención la belleza de estas dos especies de mini orquídeas de la cual les comentaré y les mostraré.
La mini orquídea morada o Spathoglottis se le llama flor de lengua mi papá la trajo de un pueblo muy frio y montañoso que se llama Caripe, Estado Monagas-Venezuela, y a diferencia de las orquídeas tradicionales que se siembran en troncos, árboles, piedras, este tipo de orquídea se siembra en la tierra o en macetas y además florece todo el año. Una vez que la siembras tarda entre 6 o 7 meses para florecer y así se mantiene durante todo el año se seca una y sale otra, necesita el sol de la mañana y debe mantenerse húmeda no requiere de mucha agua porque puede pudrirse solo tierra húmeda. Mira aqui te las muestro son mini orquídeas moradas:
La segunda especie que encontré en casa de mi papá, se conoce como "Rabo de Iguana o lagartija" (Oncidium Cebolleta), es una orquídea tradicional en su forma de sembrarse ya que se siembra en troncos de otros árboles, madera, piedras; su peculiaridad es su tamaño y color, es muy pequeña más pequeña que la anterior sus flores son amarillas matizadas en el centro con marrón claro y sus flores permanecen vivas hasta 2 semanas.

Today I want to share with you some beautiful Orchids is the national flower of my country, but also you can find thousands of species of this plant with different colors, shades and sizes. Today I went to visit my parents at their house and I was delighted to observe as always all the plants they have from medicinal plants, fruits, ornamental, cactus, but among all the plants I was struck by the beauty of these two species of mini orchids which I will tell you about and show you.
The mini purple orchid or Spathoglottis is called flower of tongue my dad brought it from a very cold and mountainous town called Caripe, Monagas State-Venezuela, and unlike the traditional orchids that are planted in trunks, trees, stones, this type of orchid is planted in the ground or in pots and also blooms all year round. Once you plant it takes between 6 or 7 months to bloom and so it remains throughout the year one dries and another comes out, it needs the morning sun and should be kept moist does not require much water because it can rot only moist soil.
