With my boundless respect and love, I am going to start my today’s post. I always like to cook. I always try to bring something new to cooking. Which makes a little difference in taste and also gives a new cooking experience. Today I am going to share a new and different way of cooking chicken. I am sure everyone will love this recipe. Every member of my house loves this recipe of chicken cooked differently.

Tell us about the recipes you make.

In our country, we cultivated varieties of rice. With these various kinds of rice, we make different kinds of pitha and this is the tradition of Bangladesh. These various kinds of pitha have various kinds of tastes which amaze us always. Today I’m going to share the recipe for making "Capti Pitha". I learned this recipe from my grandmother. She used to make this on my evening snacks. It is very simple to make and also needs a few ingredients which we always have in our kitchen. This pitha can be taken with any kind of curry, beef, or chicken items or with various kinds of varta. So without wasting your valuable time, I would like to share my today’s unique recipe of "Capti Pitha".

All the sunned rice I put into the blender jar.

After that, I blend all the rice properly with a small qty of water.

Hereafter blending all the rice powder with water the texture will be like this.

Into the liquid rice mixture, I add all the cut onions.

After that, I add the cut chili to it.

Then add some coriander leaves into it.

All the ingredients I mixed so well and kept aside for 15 minutes.

I put a nonsticky oily pan onto the stove. I put a few drops of oil in it and let it be hot.

When the pan is well hot then I put three tablespoons of rice liquid into it. In that time keep the flame on the stove in medium.

Then I put a lid on it and keep it for 5 minutes.

After five minutes of opening the lid, I saw the pitha’s surface. When the bubbles will come upon the layer it’s smooth to move around.

In this step I picked up the pitha with a stainless steel spatula I picked it and served on a plate.

I served these "Capti Pitha" with coriander chutney. This chutney is perfectly matched with the pitha. This is my first attempt to make this pitha and all my family members appreciate after having it.

It was amazing to taste. In time of eating it, I went back to my childhood memories when I had it beside the clay oven making my grandmother. This pitha is mainly based on rice which is very nutritious for our health. Chapti Pitha is low in fat and easily can be digestible. People of every age can have this pitha which is full of fiber. For those who have not tasted it, I would like to request to have this pitha once and I believe you can’t forget the taste of this pitha.

Wow, very nice that you made the pressure at home with rice powder and ate it without going outside. We bring rice powder from outside, and we make pitha cake or chapti at home, and you make chapti at home.
