The Diarygame (13-10-2024) || Had a lovely evening with family in Dhaka after a long time.

That day, after lunch, we went out as the afternoon was short, and evening approached very quickly. So, at first, we moved towards Dhaka Cantonment. There is a place called “Thribeni Nirjor,” which was my go-to place when I was in Dhaka. The place was so beautiful, neat, and clean, and within this crowded city, it is a spot of greenery, water, and relaxation for a while. We sat near a pond and spent some time there. My daughter noticed a playground nearby, so she wanted to go there, and we gave her some time to play as she loves playing activities more than anything. By this time, it became evening.

After spending some time there, we sat in a nearby hut where there was an arrangement of food, as my daughter became hungry after playing. So, we ordered some light snacks for her—a mini burger and watermelon juice. However, we didn’t stay here long because of the huge number of mosquitoes. In a hurry, we finished our snacks and moved towards shopping.

We went to a nearby shopping center, “CSD” super shop, which is also located at Dhaka Cantonment. I had to buy shoes for myself and my daughter, and I found it convenient for both time and price. This was quite a huge super shop where you can find everything under one roof. After going there, my eyes were drawn to the arrangement. It was full of products arranged by section and floor so perfectly. My shopping section was on the 3rd floor, so we went there and tried on some shoes for my daughter and me. We didn’t get the sizes of our first choices, but we got sizes among our other choices. Although we were happy after getting new shoes, Alhamdulillah.

While we were paying the bill, my daughter noticed another small playground near the billing section. Guess what? She got into it again and started playing. So, after a small swing session, we went down and saw other items available in the super shop. Again, I would say there was a huge arrangement of products under one roof. And I must recommend visiting there to anyone who lives near Dhaka Cantonment. We only bought two pairs of shoes that day, and our bill was 2757 taka or 22.94 USD.

After that, we decided to have dinner at my daughter’s favorite place, “Captain,” which is also located nearby Dhaka Cantonment. We chose this place because it also has a kids’ zone, and my daughter had asked us to take her to this restaurant so she could play for a while. So we went there. We ordered a pastry for my daughter, and for ourselves, we ordered a chicken fry combo and a naan kebab combo. Without eating anything, my daughter was busy in the kids’ zone, and we didn’t stop her as we wanted her to be happy and play as much as she could. When she got extremely tired, she returned to the table and finished her food without any nagging, just as we wanted.At the restaurant, our total bill was 640 taka or 5.32 USD.

After a fulfilling dinner, we moved towards our home with happy and satisfied hearts. I can simply say that even in a rush, our visit to Dhaka that evening gave us happy, relaxing, and complete moments to cherish again.
