Betterlife - The Diary Game |27 September , 2024 | A Weekend of Family Gathering, Fun Activities and Heartfelt Memories.

They arrived at my house on previous day for a 3-day stay, and today is their second day here. We wanted to show them around as much as possible. The day started in th every morning when I woke up and prepared all the food arrangements for the entire day as we had many plans for the day. Once they woke up, I served them breakfast, and after that, my husband took them to a nearby swimming pool, as our little ones love water. We all went together, although my sister-in-law and I didn’t get into the pool. Instead, we enjoyed watching the kids having fun in the water. They were so happy and really enjoyed their pool time.

After an hour at the pool, we returned home. I got my child cleaned up, then went to the kitchen to finish cooking lunch. Since it was Friday and my sister-in-law’s family was visiting, I prepared something special: "Polaw, Chicken roast, Beef, and Shrimp bhuna". I had to finish quickly because we had more outings planned. After the boys (my husband and brother -in- law) returned from Jumu'ah prayers , I served lunch. We had a fulfilling family meal, then got ready for our weekend outing.

We all headed to the naval beach, "West Point," to spend a lovely evening watching the sunset.My sister in law and her family had never been there before , and they were amazed by the beauty of the sea and nature. We spent the whole afternoon and evening there, breathing in the fresh sea air, taking lots of pictures to capture the memories, and enjoying the famous piyaju and beguni with the sunset. The joy of our little ones made everything more precious.

After this priceless evening, we took them to "Patenga Beach." We walked along the entire walkway at the beach, though it was crowded since it was Friday. My sister-in-law explored the small shops for some Burmese pickles, chocolates, and other items. While browsing with her, I found some shell curtain accessories to hang on my door, so I bought a few pieces.

After all the walking and shopping, we were hungry and decided to have dinner outside. We went to a nearby Barcode Restaurant. Last time, our guests loved the "Fuchka platter" there, so we ordered it again, along with a large "Kabab platter" for our brother-in-law's arrival. We enjoyed the food and had great conversations , as we’ve shared a close bond since the beginning of my marriage. By the time we finished , it was already 11 p.m., and the kids were exhausted after such an activity-filled day.

We returned home with happy hearts, having spent beautiful moments with family after a long time. What could be more precious than quality time with loved ones?
