Betterlife - The Diary Game |12 September , 2024 | A Day from City to Shore.

Our adventure began a little early, as we had planned a special tour with friends after such a long time. We had decided to visit Cox’s Bazar for two days , and the day had finally arrived. I woke up, packed our luggage, and prepared for the trip. Our starting time was set for 12 PM, right after our husbands returned from work.

After packing, we had a simple breakfast with Moringa drinks, which I recently started incorporating into my routine because of their health benefits. After breakfast, we freshened up, completed my skincare routine, and got ready. By this time, my husband had returned from the office, freshened up, and we were finally ready for the long-awaited friends' trip to Cox’s Bazar.

Three families, including ours, set off together at 12 PM, while one of our friends was coming from Dhaka, and two others were already stationed in Cox’s Bazar. We were excited about the grand get-together! As we journeyed, we passed beautiful greenery along the roadside. My daughter and I were sitting in the second seat, enjoying the views and listening to our favorite songs.

There was some traffic on the road , but overall , we were moving smoothly towards Cox’s Bazar. After about two and a half hours my daughter fell asleep , and after three hours, we stopped at a restaurant for lunch. All of our friends gathered there for a short lunch break. We kept our meal light to avoid discomfort during the rest of the journey.

After lunch , we hit the road again enjoying more scenic views along the way. Around two and a half hours later , we were nearing at the Cox’s Bazar. We were all eagerly awaiting our first glimpse of the sea and hoping to catch the beauty of sunset as it was in our plan.

As we approached the entrance of Cox’s Bazar , there is a flyover from where you can get a beautiful wide view of the sea for the first time. As we got more closer , our excitement grew. Finally , we saw it! We all shouted together with joy at the sight of the vast, glistening sea.

We arrived at the beach just in time to witness the mesmerizing sunset. All the exhaustion from the journey melted away as we stood there and watching the sun dip below the horizon ...Ahhh what a peaceful moment it was. My daughter was excited to dip her feet in the water , but as it was getting late we decided not to get fully into the sea. Instead , we all enjoyed standing at the shore, with the cool waves brushing against our feet. My words are uncapable to describe the beauty of that moment .

Afterward, we headed to our accommodation to rest for a bit, as we had a dinner gathering planned with our friends living in Cox’s Bazar. At 8 PM , we met up with everyone for a fantastic dinner. It was a wonderful get-together , just not only for us but also for our kids , who had a great time playing with their friends.

We spent the evening by chatting and sharing memories. Around 11 PM , we went back to the beach for a while for enjoying the peacefulness of night and the sound of the waves . It was a just perfect ending to a beautiful day.

And that is a glimpse of our journey from the road to the sea. It was a day filled with joy, precious memories with faces of friends and family and the vastness of the Sea.Alhamdulillah.....
