Dear friends, the new contest shared by the Steem for Bangladesh community Contest Alert || Week-13 || Creativity in Art || Calligraphy In Your Mother Tongue. has been organized by the respected moderator @enamul17 brother.

Calligraphy in one's mother tongue is a great joy, but it is only for those who can do it.But it is very unfortunate for those who cannot because they are not able to do many things in their mother tongue.

Today, I have chosen a traditional word to do calligraphy in my mother tongue: "Welcome."I will calligraphy this word in Bengali which will be presented in my native language.It is used to welcome people on various occasions, and I think this calligraphy is great, even though I'm not very good at it, but I tried it.

I used to do calligraphy more or less, but not professionally and I stopped practicing, so now I have trouble drawing.However, I used to do a lot of this calligraphy when I was in the fourth and fifth grades.

Materials needed to make this calligraphy:

• White paper
• Pencil
• Measuring stick
• Eraser
• Colored pencils etc.

I was encouraged to make the drawings and received educational opportunities through the practice of the engineering drawing subject.Even though it was early in my diploma life, I still remember it a little.Let's share calligraphy step by step.

Step-1

First, I will try to write the Bengali letters with a double border using a pencil.I have written the first two letters here and am starting my calligraphy today here and will progress further in the next steps.

Step-2

Here I have tried to write my entire text beautifully in a frame shape using a pencil.Although I said before, it might be a little crooked due to lack of practice, I tried my best to do it well.

I tried to capture how I was at this time.I am very busy while drawing, but it should be understood that step by step I am drawing, whether my presence is there and it is real that I am drawing.So, along with putting a picture at the end of the drawing, I also tried to put a picture in the middle.

Step-3

Now, to enhance the beauty of the text, add flowers at the bottom and a flowering tree in the middle, making it look like it's placed in front of a gate.And as the steps progress, the calligraphy looks a little better to me, even though I can't draw perfectly.

Step-4

In this step, I tried to perfectly depict the text with all the leaves.This step was an attempt to depict everything in a simple sketch, including the leaves and flowers, and now the coloring will begin.

Step-5

First, an attempt was made to beautifully depict the calligraphy in azure colors.I know it would have looked even better if it had been painted red, but my favorite color is the sky, so I used that.You can express your daily greetings with anything, any color, it's your wish.

Step-6

After coloring everything from the flowers to the leaves in this step, I was able to create a perfect calligraphy.Even though I know it's not perfect, it's not bad for me because it's the result of my hard work, so it feels great to me.

I finally tried to take a selfie with my calligraphy.I do this every time I draw, but there's nothing special about it. I think it's mandatory to do it after I finish drawing.Thank you all so much for joining us for today's calligraphy and thank you to the organizers.
