The Diary Game (5 may 2024):The plight of the village people at 43° Celsius temperature.

(Assalamu- Alaikum) "Peace be upon You"

My sincere greetings to all who have come to read my diary in faith. Hope you all are well. I live in Mirpur, a small district of Bangladesh. No rain is seen here throughout the summer. The temperature has soared above 43 degree Celsius this year. Since I live in a village, most of the people in the village are farmers. Almost every person here is dependent on agriculture. Due to lack of rain for the entire summer, the farmers are unable to harvest the crops.

Also, tubewell water has stopped rising in many places in the village. Which has really created a dilemma here. Every person here is now praying to Allah that it rains and everything becomes normal.

I felt very tired after returning home from the field in the hot summer. Then I heard a sound. My house is next to the road. I left the house after hearing the voice of the watermelon seller from the house. Watermelon fulfills the water requirement of the body in this heat. Which is very beneficial for the body. I bought watermelon from the watermelon seller and ate watermelon together with my wife and my mother.

Then after noon I spent a long time sleeping after having lunch. The days are longer during summer. And the night is relatively short. And there is a lot of problem of load shooting in rural areas at night. That's why you don't get enough sleep at night. So I have to make up for the lack of sleep at night by sleeping during the day. So I spent a long time sleeping since noon. I woke up in the afternoon.

I went out in the afternoon. After Asr prayer, I reached my friend's shop. I went there and bought muri and chanachur from the shop and ate with my friends. Then I chatted with my friends for some time and returned home after evening prayers.

When I returned home, I saw that there was no electricity. very hot But there is light wind outside. My wife asked me to bring ice cream. I immediately went to the shop bought three ice creams for my mother, wife and me and returned home. I went for a walk to eat ice cream on the street near our house. The timing was pretty good. This light breeze of nature was giving us relief in this intense heat.

Ice cream satisfied the mind. We all love cold food in hot weather. But it must be eaten ripe. Ending here as of today. Hope you like my diary. See you in another diary post.
